          Oh no, it's back!!

I last posted a message here in August, to let you all know that I too was experiencing rather embarassing and annoying vibrations in the nether regions. Thankfully, after about 1 month of living with this very strange problem it finally stopped, as quickly as it had started and of course I was overjoyed.

Alas, my celebrating it seems was premature, as 2 months later, it's back and with a vengeance! I will have to take a trip to se my doctor in 1 month or so, to renew my contraceptive prescription and have decided that while I there, I am going to bite the bullet and tell my doctor about my little problem. It would be embarrassing under normal situations, but more so for me at present, as although I am english, I am living in France at the moment and have no doubt that my doctor will think I am just a mad englishwomen, but needs must and I am also a little curious to know if she has ever heard of this before from any of her other patients.

So, if my doctor comes up with any new ideas as to exactly what this problem may be or might be caused by, I shall let you all know.

Regards and good vibrations to all!!!

I am so glad I found this site -- to have vibrations in my vagina or wherever it is in or on there is very weird and a bit scary so I was glad to read that it doesn't seem to be a symptom of something horrible. Anyway, I asked my acupuncturist what she thought and her first question was if I had any lower back pain because the sacral area of the spine is connected (as part of the nervous system) to the genital area. Not the case for me, and I have constant buzzing in my genital area, though I can't pinpoint where it is coming from. Has anyone had any luck with their physician? If this doesn't stop in the next few days, I'm going to have it checked out. My acupuncturist thinks it is nerve related and that she might be able to help, but I would like to make sure it isn't anything else.

              Good Vibrations, not!

Well, I am vibrating too. 46 yrs old, birth control pills, work out, ride bikes, have had lower back pain in the past and still occassionally. Two days now, and it is getting worse! Has anyone found out anything from their physician?

              Desperate for information!

                Me too!

Ugh. I started vibrating yesterday and thought I was losing my mind. It's still happening and it seems to occur somewhat sporadically? Guess I haven't tracked the duration and time between the little quakes! I have NEVER experienced this before and it's scary for me because I don't have medical insurance right now--nothing to do but deal with it unless I go to a clinic. I read all of the other posts, though, and it sounds like doctors don't have a clue about this.

If any of you have information from a doctor, please share.

                Tks!

Wow, I'm really glad I found this...

I've been having the same thing all of you have described... I first got it about a month ago but I had it all day today and through out school, it was really annoying. It stopped for a couple of hours then started again... stopped and its happening again!

All of you seem older, but I'm 17, not sexually active and still a virgin. Is there anyone more my age with the same thing?

                    Just A Thought

I experienced this sensation for the first time last night. Just like everyone else here, I immediately wondered if my cell phone was in the area and ringing since it felt like I was sitting on it.

Here's are some thoughts. I just began carrying my cell phone on my hip for about a week now. Previously, I carried it in my purse.

Does anyone experience this sensation that DOES NOT carry their cell phone or other electronic device on their body?

Also, I had to use some estrogen cream internally about 2 weeks ago. It contained estrogen. I was supposed to use it daily for 3 weeks but only used it 3 times.

I was thinking that these sensations could be a side effect of estrogen.

Also, I was recently diagnosed with a UTI. Has anyone else had bladder issues?

And finally, I have had an annoying twitch on the left side of my upper lip.

So, maybe there is something in common we can find with all of us.

                      any one with any answers?

my "tingling, vibration" sensastions have only been happening for about 2 weeks. what a weird feeling! there is no certain time or circumstance. I have noticed it more after urination but it can come at any time. if anyone has any more info please let me know. some one else posted that it is more on the right side. this is the only side i have felt it on.
