    but we have no answers?

I was surprised that when I looked this topic up, it actually existed. I've been having this weird sensation for 2 days. I'm 41, 4 children, not on birthcontrol, taking no other meds...

Its so hard to pinpoint where it is coming from because it doesn't feel like its coming from the vaginal walls or the womb but more like the cervix.

I was thinking it was a blood vessel perhaps? Actually I was thinking it was some kind of homing beacon for aliens. ***** Power?

All kidding aside, it is good that I'm not the only one experiencing this.

I noticed the first time the topic was brought up was a year ago. Has anyone had this happening prior to this past year?

      Me too

Strange, after reading all the posts there doesn't seem to be a real, solid, common thread among us. We are all different stages of life. Im 54, grown children, no birth control, I'm going through menopause, I have never put my cell phone on my body. I have had the sensation about 3 months now, but I noticed that when I was on vacation in Jamaica last week, I forgot about it. I was laying on the beach, reading most of the time and I did not use a computer. I just came back to check at this website because the buzzing started up again when I sat for a while sitting on my computer chair surfing the net. Maybe it's the sitting position?? I have no clue...

        Feel the Vibration

Amazing to find this thread. I started vibrating about a week ago. It doesn't matter what position I'm in or what I'm doing. I'm not on birth control. I don't exercise. I'm 37 and have one child. It feels like the vibration is up somewhere between my anus and vagina but up inside my body somewhere. When it first happened I was sitting on the couch playing with the Wii, and I literally thought I was sitting on the other Wii remote (it vibrates)! The vibration comes and goes throughout the day, is painless but annoying, and lasts for 5 seconds more or less when it's doing its thing. What the heck is it!

          Newbie Vibrational

Goodness I really thought I was going crazy. I'm 39 with no children. I started "vibrating" about 4 months ago. First it was in my arm, then in my hip and now in my vagina. I too, thought it was my cell phone seeing as how I kept in my lab jacket pocket, switched to vibrate. I took my phone out of my pocket for 2 weeks and that's when the vibrating started in my vagina. I have read the thread above about going on vacation and not using her computer...that got me thinking...I'm sitting here with my laptop on my lap and I feel the vibration of the computer which is similar to that of the vibration I feel anwhere from 10-40 times a day. I am not experiencing any discomfort, sensation besides vibrating nor is it pleasurable.....quite frankly I've turned myself into a sideshow at work with the gals. I'm not in anyway saying that this funny but since there seems to be no medical diagnosis and no cure and doesn't seem anyone is being hospitalized for this..so all I can do is laugh at myself. I wanted to post because hopefully someone with a sounder mind than me will figure this vibrating situation out....till here's vibrating to you

            vagianl vibrations

Wow I cant believe that I found someone. I have been having the vibrating sensations now for 3 months. Usually when I am sitting. I have checked out these notes and it is affecting women of all ages and its odd that the doctors know nothing about it. Maybe its something new and we as a group have to discover our common threads to find the answer ? I will keep looking ? Aliens ???? Well I guess anything is possible !!

              Vibrating.....vagina

Good evening ladies! I have been buzzing or vibrating for 3 wks now...I am under a bit of stress at the moment, more than ususal. I am beginning to believe it is a nerve reaction to stress. I am 36, have 3 children, and 5 1/2 years fixed! No more children from this oven. It is a weird feeling...kinda made me initially think the tubes had untied themselves. But anyway,..I think this is a nerve problem. Good luck to my fellow ladies, I beleive if we rid ourselves of some of the stressers we are coping with this just might go away. Awareness is the key,... I would have never thought we could hold stress in this part of our bodies, but it makes sense!

Hi Cheryl ...i thought i was the only one who had experienced a similar sort of thing! I went to see a colorectal surgeon as well as a gyne consultant !! .I was having these really strange "tremors" it got really quite bad and carried on for some months it would alternate between tremors and what i can only describe as "A hive of bees" buzzing away constantly !!! wierd ..i know !!! the thing is sometimes it would feel as if it was directly behind the area of skin located between the opening of the vagina and the anus ...sometimes it would be directly in the anal passage . It wasnt proctalgia or simple anal pain it was just this awful buzzing and humming thing !! sometimes i couldnt sleep it seemed to be worse at night . I explained all this to the coloproctologist and she wrote down the "hive of bees" description !! she gave me an anal examination and said a lot of people who have muscles that are in good shape or quite tight muscles down there or women who have not yet given birth (ive had no kids yet) she said it was quite common in young men and women but im no spring chicken nearly 40 ...so i kind of thought nooo im sure theres got to be another reason . I had a full colonoscopy (to the top) and that was fine but i still carried on with this buzzing thing ...but then i started to get pain with it as well as the buzzing it had now gone on for a year or so but i was almost certain it was coming from behind that area of skin between the entrance to the vagina and opening of back passage ! i thought perhaps it was a nerve problem ... after much investigation including CT , MRI , ultrasound, renal tract ultrasound , IVU xrays you name it i had it i had a trans vaginal ultrasound the one they scan inside the body with ..i had a "pocket" or pouch of infection in the pelvis or what known as PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) and i also had a ovarian cyst on my left overy that was pressing on my bowel so that was the reason just in my case . I thought it was definately worth a post on it as so many women seem to have experienced similar ...but dont panic ladies im sure that there are lots of reasons you can experience this buzzing phonomina (excuse spelling error) ...but it could be well worth a check for an ovarian cyst (ultrasound) as the dr explained they are quite normal most women do get them (even if they dont know it) and they do break down in the body on thier own its just sometimes they cause problems ...he said i felt the pain (and possible the buzzing|) because it was pressing on the bowel BUT i was only experiencing the pain at the end of the bowel that could have been one of the reasons for the buzzing earlier on OR it could of been that i had that pocket of infection in my pelvis ...!! phew im glad its gone ...it was all sorted out in the end and i was fine after a stay in hospital and no further episodes of the "hive of bees" thing ...if i could offer any advice its well worth a gyne check , checking pelvic area internal examination ect if any ladies are finding this is really uncomfortable ...and making a note of any changes in bowel movements ect ... best wishes to all xxx a great post on this buzzing thing so glad i found it ...just thought i was the only one !

Okay Ladies, like everyone else.... I was going crazy too.

I'm a 39 yr old and I've had a full hystorectomy, and just had a full check up and nothing was wrong with me.

Well, let me tell you I just started vibrating 4 days ago, and it just happened to start after I had sex with a new parthner for the first time. I was thinking I was still having an orgasm, and man "Dude was good" if that was the case. This is the strangest thing I have ever had in my life. I googled "Continuous Orgasm lasting for days" thinking this must have happened to other peeps. Well now after reading this thread, I think maybe he must have hit a nerv and it going nuts. IF ANYONE FINDS THE ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM LET ME KNOW, cause I swear I'm still having that Orgasm!!!!!!!!! I need to call Dude for a follow up BC... cause it was off the chain.

                      Me Too

I'm 40 with two kids - just had an abdominal hysterectomy 7 months ago. They left my ovaries. I'm buzzing right on top of my pubic bone. Just started this morning and I thought I was losing my mind. Imagine my surprise when I found all of you as well as a post on WebMD! I can't believe that no doctors have any answers. How can there be this many of us and no answers? Frustrating.

One theory I came up with is Restless Leg Syndrome - anyone else have it? I get it really bad when I'm overly tired or stressed.

I told my best friend at work about it and we laughed so hard we almost fell off our chairs. She called me "Buzz" all day. Said she was jealous - I have news though, there's NOTHING enjoyable about this. I'm ready to lose my mind and see posts from gals on here who have been buzzing for months???? Ya gotta be kidding me! I'll be absolutely insane by then!

If anyone finds a magical answer, PLEASE come back and inform your buzzing sisters!!!!
