Hello, I had the exact same things happen to me last week and ive been freaking out but I went and talked to a nurse at the hospital where I work and she said that sometimes they give you an abnormal pap even if a cell might look diffrernt. She said next time if its normal then its fine but if it comes back abnormal get a colonoscopy. Usually they will check you and then they would remove any damaged cells. I hope this helps you.

      Positive...

I had normal paps until after I had my 3rd shot. Now I've gone from mild dysplaisa to moderate dysplasia to having a colposcopy, 3 different biopsys, and cryo surgery ((where they use Nitrogen I think it is to freeze the cervix)). I go back in for a follow up pap, and it still came back abnormal. I'm now going to have to go back in AGAIN for cryo surgery. My doctor said the next step if this doesn't work is a Cone Biopsy which is an invasive surgery, you're put out and everything from my understanding.

Several of my friends who have had normal paps until they got the shot are now facing HPV.
I talked to my mother today and told her to NEVER get this for my little sister.

I always normal pap results and never had infections. My gynos always say that i am completely clean and normal. Right after my first shot, i started to develop really weird sensation around my vaginal lips. Like itching and burning. The pain was hard to describe, almost like a there were needles inside my skin (the interior lips). My doc said maybe i got some urinary infection etc. Since meanwhile i also had the feeling as if i would like to pee most of the time. I started to take immunex and it went away. After a while, maybe after the second shot, i am not sure, i started to feel itching and burning sensation. This time there was no needles under the skin. However, the itching part was the same place where i had the painful needles sensation before. When i touched there, i felt small bumps, not like herpes but maybe small warts?? Im not sure, cant really see them, but can feel them. Now the itching is gone but the bumps are there, not visible but can feel them. I always blamed the gardasil for this and now im almost %100 sure. I will go have my pap test and if it comes out abnormal, i strongly reccomend all of us to go after this. We are not lab rats. God knows what other side effects might develop in the coming years. We are only a bunch of careful observers who can associate these with gardasil. Im sure there are many others who are not aware of it. It might be this, gardasil might trigger the hpv if you already have it and maybe they are hiding this from us. I hope this is not the case.

Hello, please talk to Zack here Ronan Law Firm. Im not from United States but he said he can help to women who are from United states with abnormal smear tests after the shots. please keep in mind, in a FDA report it says that "the possibility that gardasil may cause cancer in women who are exposed to sex is %49" which is a huge deal. Nobody warned us about this. If we had known it we wouldnt have get these shots done.

An abnormal pap is actually a normal common thing. As soon as cells look even a little different than others they get tagged with the 'abnormal' description. There is then a grading system done by techs to determine how abnormal the cells are....if another pap is done and nothing is wrong then the abnormal ones from before were of no concern. There is no case to win legally when a pap comes back abnormal. Information is given all the time, patients decide not to read it (not saying this is you but obviously other women may not want to read it), do not believe in the statistics, or believe nothing in the world can harm them...but the information is there in pamphlets, online (avoid blogs with zero actual research), in books, research journals etc.

btw where did you see a FDA report with a 49% rating on contracting cancer after a Gardasil shot? Whoever wrote that is saying that there is a 50/50 percent chance in getting cancer with a shot that helps prevent cancer, which is not going to pass by FDA reports.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.

Ive heard a lot about this shot even in women magazines to stay away that they need to do additional work on the shot. I usual just stay away from all new shots until I see years of study and good research on it esp these new cancer shots coming out and others which I hear there is a new breast cancer and UTI shot prevention in the next five years. I wouldn't even get a flu shot for the longest, I still am wary of that! It's possible in some women the shot works in adverse ways. Advocate for your self, do your research before just going with what the doctor says, there not all out to help they also like what's called money. I am so sorry this is happening to you I would be demanding to see a lawyer, and see a good doctor about your symptoms and concerns.
