Most women cannot and do not orgasm from penetration. Most of the nerves in the vagina are located at the opening. Then there is the clitorus...the nerve center. You can orgasm from clitoral stimulation so what could be so wrong with filling yourself up and rubbing one out at the same time. The contractions in the vagina during and orgasm while being filled are a whole other sensation in themselves. Give a try.

The point is adding the extra stimulation might be what your missing. If you are not willing to try something that has the potential to help you feel something new and exciting because you just "don't see the point" then your only robbing yourself of its potential.

Hon there are few of us who climax from penetration (alone) DH and I have a vibe stuck between us during intercourse. He doesn't "mind" and it allows me to orgasm (and how!) Before this (and still but not so much) DH would get me to orgasm by doing oral on me and then we would finish with intercourse for DH's orgasm.
We have also played with combinations like oral sex along with penetration from a Dildo. That can be pretty mind blowing!
Remember if you can't orgasm from penetration (alone) your among about 99% of us. So, don't be upset."Don't compromise yourself. You are all you've got." ~ Janis JoplinComment

It takes a while to get used to the feeling of vaginal intercourse/penetration, it’s very different to feeling your clitoris, it’s more discreet in a way. You might be subconsciously expecting it to feel similar which will automatically make you think you’re not getting it right.. Would other ladies agree?.. xxLast edited by Alison H.; 08-21-2020, 07:16 PM.Comment

And if the majority of your experimentation has been with dildos then I'm not surprised that you don't feel much pleasure from it. I generally really dislike masturbating with dildos. It's just not the same at all as a warm living penis. Hopefully with a loving partner that you're in love with as well you can experiment and with time find some pleasure. But as the others say...for most women it's all about the clit!Well some people say that you shouldn't tempt fate, and for them I can not disagree. But I never learned nothing from playing it safe; I say fate should not tempt me. I take my chances.Comment

I have the same problem.. i was really worried that i was the only one. I feel nothing, obviously i can feel my boyfriend inside me, but i don't feel that 'great' pleasure that my friends talk about or that you see in films. 2 of my friends just looked at me strangely when i attempted to get some help.
It seems more common than i first thought.. maybe they were lying? I'm not sure what to do either, i've had 2 boyfriends in which i've been sexually active with, and i've received no pleasure with either. I get feeling from clitoral stimulation, i become wet and i feel aroused like anybody else. I just seem to lack that feeling inside.
When with my boyfriend we do a whole array of positions, we've used lube before (why not eh :P) and he's good at foreplay. I'm trying not to expect nothing during sex but at the same time not to expect everything! Would it not just be easier to go to the doctor?
Please can i have some help? Will i ever feel anything?Comment

Well Hannah, as I pointed out to Sad only about 30% of women experience vaginal orgasm. Think about this, if the vagina were loaded with nerves, childbirth would be horrible. The clit is it. It's construction is such that those nerves (root) entend considerably beyond that little button and in many women their position is such that it recults in vaginal stimulation as well. But while bodies are build essentially the same, they are not identical.
A lot of this has to do with 'learning' your body and training your responses. How emotionally connected you are is a biggie too. Focus on what works, practice lots of foreplay, relax and don't take this as a test or contest. Can you bring yourself to orgasm?Comment

Okay, I think I understand. I have used a dildo, and rub my clit at the same time, when I am about to have a clit orgasm the muscles in my vagina involunatarily tighten up and it HURTS, it feels like my vagina is clinging to a piece of metal and it stops me from having a complete orgasm..that's the best way I can describe itThe point is adding the extra stimulation might be what your missing. If you are not willing to try something that has the potential to help you feel something new and exciting because you just "don't see the point" then your only robbing yourself of its potential.

You're right! I have been masterbating through clitoral stimulation since I was 5 and I am used to that feeling. When I participated in penetration, I did not understand what kind of pleasure I was supposed to be getting from it..it does not feel anything like clitoral. It doesn't feel as intense or direct or pleasureable. It doesn't feel like much of anything. All I know is that I am being filled. And then the guy gets to going in and out and he starts to hit my bladder and my rectum which does not feel good at allIt takes a while to get used to the feeling of vaginal intercourse/penetration, it’s very different to feeling your clitoris, it’s more discreet in a way. I know how you feel this has bothered me for years and I have never been able to accept this. I don't think i will until I finally enjoy it. It's hard to when sex is considered to be the end all be all of sex. While the majority of women can't orgasm from penetration, they still like the sensations that it brings and I cannot feel it. I find myself very bitter and resentful towards women who enjoy it. It's just not fairComment
