    General Sex Questions

Okay so I have a couple questions, any input would be appreciated

    1. My bf wants me to try new positions. I am anything but flexible so many positions are already out, but we do the "basics" like from behind, missionary, spooning, me on my back and him perpendicular to me, on the side of the bed, me on my stomach, and me on top. So my question is what other positions could we try and wouldn't involve a lot of flexibility? (I can't lift my legs legs over the shoulders, or bend to my toes ect.)

    2. With regards to me being on top, most of the time I will sit on him and move my hips forward and lift my hips up a tiny bit when I'm going back but I don't feel anything so I end up lifting my hips up and he ends up doing all the work with thrusting in. Its a dumb question but is there a movement that works best with woman on top? Do I need to sit flat on him and just push my hips forward then swoop back? Or do I need to use my legs to get myself up a bit above his penis and then do the same motion? I just cannot seem to get it right. He says it feels great but I get nothing so I stop. Another thing, he is quite large so it often hurts when I sit flat on him if he is totally erect.

One of our favorites is me on my bank with him kneeling between my legs. My legs can be spread and tucked over his, or one or both of them can be held against his chest, and over his shoulders if he feels like holding you up a bit. With legs spread or one leg up, he has excellent access to your clit from this position. You can play with the angle of your hips to maximize your stimulation.

For other ideas, just type sex positions into google, and you will get many, many more options. You may not be able to do all of them, but its so much fun to experiment and try them out.

When I am on top, I don't raise myself up much, I usually just rock my hips. My torso stays pretty much in position. Think about belly dancers, whose torso doesn't move but their hips move all over the place. This idea works GREAT for woman on top. It may take some practice, but I get awesome G-spot stimulation from the back and forth motion of my hips. This would probably work for you and your man's size, you'd just scoot forward a bit so he wasn't penetrating you fully, then rock forward from there, and it should be comfy. You'll need to hold yourself up just a little with your legs, but I have found it not to be very tiring because you are staying one height over him, just moving back and forth.

    Good luck, and have fun!

I suggest that you try getting a "sex deck" from Books A Million . It is full of positions and while you wont be able to do some , you can get some good ideas from others. I am not overly flexable myself , and my boyfriend has back issues that affect our range of motion as well ... but I have found that having him sit in a stationary chair allows for some intresting positions that are easy on both of us. Just make sure it has a stong back , because you may need it to help balance.

As to the girl on top bit. Thinking belly dancing is about right. Or you can try things like reverse cowgirl , which is still girl on top that you might find easier to work with if he is a bit larger.

You might also consider buying some of the liberator shapes. They are not cheap, but they are very helpfull for those with physical issue's.

          Thanks for the tips.

We tried reverse cowgirl the other night, definitely wasn't for me though. I felt very awkward doing it like that, and again I couldn't get the motion of the hips right. Something about not being able to face him doesn't sit right with me, but I figure at least we tried it.

I'm not physically impaired or anything, I'm just not flexible. We have tried to push my legs back a bit, and it definitely goes deeper and feels great but its not like porno style sex with the feet up near my ears haha (and never will be).

As a new 'issue', I am extremely self-conscious. I have always been a very quiet, keep to myself, shy girl and my boyfriend knows this. As one would imagine having these thoughts though really puts a damper on the ability to try new things in sex. Obviously my boyfriend loves me no matter what the body looks like during certain positions, but its not even that, I honestly cannot just let him stare at my naked body (even in admiration) with the lamp on while we are just lying there talking. My skin is not flawless, my body does not serve as a common example of the female figure. I was born with medical imperfections and it is those imperfections that cause me to worry that he is comparing my body, even if it is to himself, to the 'typcial female' body. So how to I just ignore those thoughts and just embrace the fact that he absolutely adors my body?

Because he does, because your thread, pertained to different positions, ones that he wants for both of you to feel, like you've never felt before... So, "typical female body" is there one?

Yep, if you look at the models, however, even they admit that their photos are doctored, that they have celulite, that they have wrinkles, etc, etc.

The fact that he "wants" to see your body, and in movements that only maybe he has dreamed of, or once had, and wants again, but with more feeling, means he aint looking at anything, other than love and lust for body, because he WANTS MORE....

Oh I didn't mean a super model type body, everyone knows those are altered with photo programs. I meant just like the average Jane that you go to school with or see at the mall, just the typical mid 20's woman.

If he wants the lights left on it is because he finds you attractive. I'd only worry about your body if he wanted the lights out. You may not match the "ideal", he probably doesn't either. But he loves you so you are beautiful to him.

Well said, that is what i was referring to, he obviously loves your body so you don't have to worry about what you feel is not perfect, none of us think we are perfect let's face it.

Yeah I suppose, and he constantly tells me that so I just gotta let go and get out of my comfort shell.
