I hope my emotions stay under control even during school though. The stress of some classes is plenty, I do not want to have my cycle cause me grief as well (to this day I have never got bad cramps or PMS).

During my cycle I do not notice much change in my general emotions, however since I have started on the pill I have gone from almost no sex drive to thinking about and wanting sex quite often. Does not seem like much however my boyfriend is very pleased with me being much more horny than before. When my period begins my drive is through the roof.

Posts like this that make me really glad that I'm a man.
Except you guys are insatiable a few days a month, whereas men are itching to go all 30 days.
Girlie is at her best during ovulation and then during her period. Good thing blood doesn't bug me.

LOL, depends on the woman. For myself it's a comfort zone issue, if I'm comfortable
in a relationship, I'm pretty much always "on". If I'm happy, I'm horny. But if I'm mistreated, ignored, belittled or abused, I turn off. I recognized a long time ago that (provided you are healthy) arousal is more about emotions than anything else. I find most men distrust this, they are so steeped in the idea that women are hard to arouse, will fake orgasm, use sex to draw men in and on and on, that there seem to be very few that can deal with a woman who loves sex and is fairly aware about it. But then it seems very few women are very aware and most have bought into the idea that getting aroused is difficult.
One thing that is critical, at least for me, is trust. That's what moves the comfort level up to the point where it's possible to really let go, to explore and try new things.Comment

i am glad im not the only one that goes a bit crazy during their cycle, i have one or two days a month when i'm really sad and teary. my sweetie will tease me as he always does, and instead of laughing or throwing it back, i will cry and sook, the only thing is that the make up sex is always great!Comment

I have to jump on this bandwagon. I definitely get the same way, once I'm smack in the middle of that week, all I want to do is jump him. Granted, it's like that ALL the time (I have the libido of a teenage boy, I swear) but a little more so during the week of my period. It's gotta be the hormones.
He keeps up with me amazingly, so we still find ways to do it. Usually in the shower is the easy way. I never used to like having sex during it, but ever since I went back on the Pill, my periods have been super light. So it's not really a problem to have sex during anymore, as long as it's not on the white sheets
