Well it works the other way too, there are plenty of women not getting any either! Or not enough.

Wildchild, it seems about evenly matched - I didn't mean to be gender specific.

And, yes, I am sure that it is tough on both sides of the fence. But, in my backyard there is a tough confession that needs to come out - affairs: has not really happened for me due to my devotion to my family - I am not looking for a new life and do not want any messy involvements / but, 10 years is a long time and I have had a few indiscretions (fun and stringless) over the years. For many years I ignored all passes/propositions but it is just hard to refuse water after years in a desert. I am not proud of this but it is just what it is - that was hard to admit.

Not surprised, I mean what would anyone expect? Becoming celibate has to be a personal choice not one someone else makes for you. Yet there seems to be a lot of attempts to do so, by both genders. That's like saying, you married me, haha, you're stuck! It's not right to do that to someone. I don't know that affairs are the answer but you are in an untenantable situation. It really is one of those deal where you are screwed no matter what you do.

This is your life. What are you going to do to correct this? Only you can decide if the pros of staying outweigh the cons. Personally, I think it's better to be honest and either have an agreement that you are free to seek satisfaction elsewhere or to get out and find a woman to live with as people are meant to.

Can't really say that I blame you. Honestly, you're in a sexless marriage. That's not what it is meant to be.

I think your child needs to be gone for a night and you two need to have a serious heart to heart... She's got to know that this is something that needs to be addressed, so it shouldn't surprise her.

I absolutley never advocate cheating for any reason, but in 10 years, can't say as I blame you either. But this has to come to a stop, either ya'll figure out your marriage or you need to leave. But it isn't fair to either one of you to continue on like that. And it really seems like communication is near non-existant?

Imagine the situation though - don't want to leave your children, but don't want a life without sex. If she just isn't interested (lesbian?) what other choice is there?

Yes, there is a responsibility to the child, but everyone has a responsibility to themselves to be happy. When a marriage is dead, it's ime to move on and salvage any years you can. I don't know if the OP is ready to move on, but 10 years with no sex is not a marriage, in my view.

                    Tryin to save

This one really hit home. First thing to consider, most people who do not want sex from there partner do not want to do anything with there partner; this does not sound like the case. My bet is that her testosterone is low, mine was, this is EXCITING because it is fixable. The longer I went without sex the longer I could go without it. Having sex helps to boost your testosterone naturally for a short time but you have to get the ball rolling; right? My husband and I are using testosterone from vienue (natural) you can get it online. I want to share it with everyone because it has made sex exciting again; like when we were young and full of testosterone, but it's better because now we have more experience. He said it was like falling in love again. Sex is hotter than ever for us and it can be for the two of you. There are many reasons that hormones can diminish and just from talking to the women in my Bunko group (40 plus) 9 out of the 12 women aren't interested in sex, it's really sad. Sex keeps us young.
Sex is not a chore; it is a pleasure and a privilege.

10 years with no sex and you think it's just hormones? Sorry to disagree, but I think there is much more at play in this situation.
