I am 28 and been having the same issues with sexual frustration and my boyfriend just doesn't seem to last long enough for me to orgasm. I have discovered the great use of the vibrator. Honestly, I now sometimes prefer the vibrator over sex. I would suggest you purchasing one and you will love it. Good luck with everything.

I have been wondering if that is what o am going threw. when no one is around i find myself watching alot more adult shows(porn) and playing. but lately i am finding it alot harder to reach a climax with my husband. and if i do i crave him even more. but i have also found it takes me alot longer to get warmed up. by the time i am just getting into it he is finished. and i want him to sometimes let the full desire out. but he climaxes too soon that way. he is not satisfying that erotic animal need. but i never needed that until just a few weeks ago. i love my husband and i know that this is really hard on him. i am 32 and i was raised very old fashioned (by grandparents) and all of these of feelings, thoughts, and fantasies, were to be sinful in my teachings. so i am trying so hard to grow in every way possible. but i am also scared because these passionate, wild urges get pretty strong and i dont know what to do. i take my marriage vows very serious and i would never cheat on my husband. i am very frustrated because he is having a hard time satisfying my needs. but i know it is not his fault. will we get threw this.
i am rambling and i appologize. just needed to get thoughts off my mind.Comment

Hormones!
Hi Ladies,
I have worked in the medical field for over 13 years and I can tell you right now that our sexual peak is between 30-40 years of age. This is due to our hormones. To learn more, just google hormones in women age 30.
I am 31, turning 32 and I have noticed for several years how I'm extremely in the mood for sex just a few days prior to receiving my period = hormones.
Besides just the timing around my period, I'm pretty much "ready to go" at any time. Between you and me, I'm probably driving my husband a bit crazy, but he enjoys it and gets a kick outta how crazy horny I am.
My husband is the same age as I am and believe me, it crosses my mind that the day will come when his hormones start to dip (around 40 years old) and mine will still be kickin'! But we'll have to cross that bridge when we get to it.
That said, it is PERFECTLY NORMAL for all of you hitting your 30's and beyond to be getting a surge in hormones. We're no longer in our 20's, we know what we like and how we like it and we're not afraid to ask or beg for it.
If you find yourself masturbating - that is normal, we are at our sexual peak in our 30's and need to release and hey, it's a good stress/tension releaver (sp?) so no worries. So please don't feel as if you are alone or that you're strange - you are so NOT! If you have any questions, feel free to post them and I will try to accommodate. Take care!

I'm 32 and can echo a lot of you here. Increased drive, increased pleasure, stronger orgrasms all of which increase even more right before my period. Its funny because I can remember in my late teens being around guys that complained girls don't want enough sex, which for my friends was mostly true. And now those same men in their 30's and by and large needing less sex than before to be happy are getting dragged into the bedroom by their hair for more and more lol. Turn about / fair play :PScars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.Comment

I'm 25 and have been experiencing this for about the past year. Prior to that, I was in a serious relationship since I was 17. I suppose I never went without so I didn't really know the extent of my own sex drive. Now that I'm single, there are times when it totally preoccupies my mind. And there is not a day that goes by that at some point, I don't fantasize and long for intercourse. And to make things worse, I have never been able to orgasm through masturbation. If I could, I'd be a happy happy woman! HAHA!
I guess our peaks hit at different ages, but if this isn't my peak then you better watch out when I hit my peak! HAHA!! :-)Comment

I found this forum because I am going through the same thing and googled the topic to reassure myself that there is nothing medically wrong with me. Happily, all of your posts have convinced me it's natural, although I am a little bit older than alot of you. I am going to be 43 next month. I am in a committed relationship, though we've had our ups and downs over the years. We don't live together, yet we have a 6 year old child. We only have sex at his place. I've always had a very robust sexual appetite. However about 1 to 2 months ago my sex drive just sky-rocketed. I find myself craving sex at least twice a day, to the point where I often stop what I'm doing to go masturbate and "take the edge off". (Sometimes to online porn, more often just to fantasies/memories of my last sexual ecapade with my man)
Because of his busy work schedule and only being able to have sex at his place, we usually only do it once a week, sometimes twice. It's driving me crazy. I crave it. I can't get enough. I really enjoy our sex, but he can't go very long or get it up again right away (He's 38) so I often masturbate even after we are done. It's frustrating. However, over the past couple of weeks, our sex has gotten even better. We were both shocked by an expecially "fiery" session (but happily so). I know he enjoys me. He is just not physically capable of keeping up.
I started a diet and exercise program recently too (Down 20lbs). The exercise is a great outlet, but as another posted stated earlier, it gives me even more energy and the weight loss is making me feel even sexier.
I seen no one has replied to this topic for 7 months, so I know I might not get a reply, but it was still a relief reading that others are experiencing the same thing.Comment

how long did it last
Oh my gosh!! I have recently turned 31 and I too have experience an increase in my sex drive. I find myself fantasizing about what I will do with my husband. We have been 2gether for almost 7 years we have 2 kids a 5 yr old a and a 5 month old, in the past for some time I found myself rejecting sex so often it was a major issue for us. Now I seem to want it all the time, luckily my 28 yr old hubby has been able to abide by all my wants, only problem has been a baby who does not sleep through the night.
I also tend to feel sexier when I work out and can be more flexible or feel as I look better. My husband and I recently started having date nights to have more intimacy and that has only made me want him more, I have never found him more attractive, I even feel more in love like in the beginning I do find myself worrying he will eventually say no, and I also worry that I will wake up one day and be over my feelings of needing and enjoying our sex life . I don't, like others feel the need to masturbate or cheat so I want to continue to feel like this forever, I swear I feel like we are in a new relationship making out all the time. But I am wondering for those that have been in this stage and passed it, how long id it last?Comment

hi there
i am 27 and i definitly had my sexual peak at age 23 , i always had a high sex drive ( but it's hard for me to find a partner because i value not only sex but also the relationship and the way the guy treats me).At age 23 it was nothing near what i had before or after, it was litteraly something tyranic that i couldn't get rid of, and at the time it came i had no idea sexual arrousement could go that far, so at that time i didn't have a partner and had to masturbate to take out the need but i found it not enjoyable, because as good as it is to feel arroused it's also difficult to go to work or to meet people , you just feel like it must be written on your face.
Anyway , for me ,it was 23 and i can't imagine sexual drive could go any further, but i definitly think it really depends the woman , there isn't a general age , it's somewhere in between 15 and 50 and it can be different for everyone, and it also depends if you're happy, and fullfilled in other aeras such as good relationship with people around you, good job, many things but i think it's difficult to be in a relationship where the partner has much lower or higher sex drive. Anyway, good to ya'll.Comment
