    Failed First Time

I am a nineteen year old male from the UK, and recently I have had several failed "first times". I really love my girlfriend, and we want to take it further, but I just can’t stay hard for more than ten seconds after letting go, meaning it’s impossible to get it in. I have been eating all of the right foods to see if it helps aid this issue, such as nuts, and vegetables, and it has to a degree, but we still haven't had that special first time yet, and we really want to be able to. It’s starting to get both of us down, especially after immense disappointment in the bedroom.

I have Neurofibromatosis Type 1, so it is vital we wear protection (it’s not contagious, but still, if there was an accident...), though I'm not sure if this will affect the sex side of things.

We really crave each other, and not being able to take it further is really disappointing, not to mention I hate to see my girlfriend upset.

Any remedies, recipes or even medical roads I could go down please let me know. Any advice is good advice.

    Regards, Anon

are you stressed out because of the pressure to perform? ive experienced several times where the beginning of relationships this happens because of the pressure to make it work. try relaxing and just spend a long time being gentle and reasurring each other beforehand - dont put any pressure on i.e. 'this has to work we have to do it tonight'.

have you discussed it with your girlfriend?

    best of luck!!

Could there be any nerve damage?
      Most likely it's just nerves.

One of the first uses of reverse psychology involved this.

the doctor told a couple with this problem to come back tomorrow. BUT, they have to make sure that he doesnt have an erection.

Assuming you can keep an errection during other sexual activities, this has to be about nerves. I can personally tell you that I've experienced this problem on a few random occasions if I allowed myself to be nervous about it. It's just a matter of you relaxing your mind and enjoying it.

            Pressure Sucks

When I first got together with my boyfriend, he was so nervous that he couldn't get it up for over a month, we just kept trying and I kept reassuring him that when we do "do it", it will be great - patience is bliss, and I was right, its great now!

You just need to make sure that she isn't taking this personally, that is always a crappy situation to be in.

                    I agree

And, there's nothing wrong with that.

You two are into each other, take your time and relax.

Just didn't want you to say ok thanks and leave.
