I am a nineteen year old male from the UK, and recently I have had several failed "first times". I really love my girlfriend, and we want to take it further, but I just can’t stay hard for more than ten seconds after letting go, meaning it’s impossible to get it in. I have been eating all of the right foods to see if it helps aid this issue, such as nuts, and vegetables, and it has to a degree, but we still haven't had that special first time yet, and we really want to be able to. It’s starting to get both of us down, especially after immense disappointment in the bedroom.

I have Neurofibromatosis Type 1, so it is vital we wear protection (it’s not contagious, but still, if there was an accident...), though I'm not sure if this will affect the sex side of things.

We really crave each other, and not being able to take it further is really disappointing, not to mention I hate to see my girlfriend upset.

Any remedies, recipes or even medical roads I could go down please let me know. Any advice is good advice.

I am so happy it worked out for you! What you described sounds like “performance anxiety” and it is incredibly common for guys of all ages. You start to worry and that makes it a self fulfilling prophecy. If it happens again and you get concerned PM me. Ive started to eat lots of almonds, add more garlic to food, chomp on celery and we both induldge in chocolate. But its the having to find an excuse to tell my parents, why someone who generally dislikes vegetables is eating more of them!
