I think some men really care about their partner's enjoyment, others don't. I'd guess this is correlated with selfishness in other ways, but don't really know. Some men are wonderful caring lovers, others are pigs. Suggest trying to find the first sort, and dumping the second if you find them.

General statements are always false (oh wait.......).

I don't know if you need glasses or not, but I 'did' add the word "some". You can see it over there if you take a second lookThat's a ridiculous statement. Of course most men understand women can get the same level of pleasure from sex as they do. It just looks like you've gotten stuck with losers when it comes to sex. Including who you're with now. You've communicated the problem, he understood, he still does the same thing. It won't improve. So you should move on or learn to love sex on his terms.
It's not stupidity, or a lack of catching on to hints. It's selfishness. Women are more difficult to figure out sexually. It takes someone who cares about you, to want to please you. Someone who doesn't care to is selfish, not stupid.
It was not a general statement.
Just because you understand this doesn't mean that every single man does. There are things that some women don't understand either, but I just happen to be talking about men at the moment. So, take it easy before calling people's posts ridiculous.
My ex'es have been great lovers, it's my current one who is selfish and very slow at learning. I am dealing with it, I am working on it, he is trying, I just come here to vent about what I find faulty in my relationship so I can get ideas to work with it even harder. Besides, this thread is somewhat old and cannot be judged only by the original post.
But thanks for your input.Comment
