    Sex.. Do men even care?

Wow Ladies I just noticed something a little disturbing.. I looked on the "Men Health' website and they have 2,162 postings about sex and on our "Women's Health" website we have over 36,000 postings, could this mean men just don't care or are we that good at it and there happy with us?

Wow... Then I seen Men have the most posting over all postings about "recipes " there's over 13,000 so whats happening here are our men learning to live without us or what.. I mean this is almost funny that we are posting like crazy to enjoy sex more and diet more to look good and they don't have any thing to say about sex but yet they are all about cooking..
Did mom teach us right back in the 60's when they told us way to a mans heart is his stomach?

Just a little something I noticed and wanted to share!
I'm going back in there ladies to see what there concerns are... I'll be back this is interesting..

There is absolutely no doubt that my guy loves when I cook for him. Mostly we eat out or eat TV dinners and the like, so home cooked meals are a real treat for both of us. He rarely cooks for me though! Do most other guys really like to cook and are they any good at it?

Haha what an interesting observation. Could it be that we are keeping our men satisfied in bed but not in the kitchen? My guy is the chef of this relationship. Once in a while I'll cook for him but he gets a lot of enjoyment out of cooking for me, which I do not mind at all!!

Honestly, I think women just tend to overanalyze everything in life more than men do. I also think (and this is just my opinion) that men might be *less* prone to ask specific questions about sex of other men. I think there are lots of men that I've noticed coming through the Women's forum asking these questions which makes sense really... Why not ask the gender that you want to know about?

Men usually don't search out other men to find their answers about sex. They feel they should already know and are uncomfortable admitting not being knowledgeable to their peers. If it is so with "directions" or "instruction manuals", how could it be less so with sex.

As it was put to me not too long ago, as long as it works for him what I want is essentially my problem. Most won't start asking until they are FORCED to. Quit accepting mediocre sex and foreplay. Women are bombarded with stuff focued on pleasing men, yet many women aren't orgasmic. Why do you suppose that is? If men gave half the attention to what drives women wild sexually, that women give to what pleasures men - both would be much happier.

A lot of men - I could also say most but hesitate - don't care! I would spend Thursday nights in "The Shed" and from what I heard in there it was common that the men couldn't be bothered sexually. They cook BBQs only, do no housework except mow the lawn and it was all pretty much he has his life and she has hers.

My reasoning is leaning towards men (and some women as well) are getting lazy and sex isn't all it's cracked up to be so why even bother. Understandable if there's no passion left but the answer should be get the passion back, rather than why bother. (Hence the cooking learning of some men...see below)

              Sad, sad, sad.

I'm happy to report I am in a new marriage (4 years) and we share sex (initiation and direction), cooking (I cook ALL steaks, BBQs, w/e breakfasts), house work (inside and out) and spend every possible free time together.

As for the forum discussions, HCM is spot on. Men wont talk to other men about sexual issues....As If!

The cooking/recipe thing is an end to a means. Teach me to cook so I can get more sex, because that will please the woman.

Very good point if you look at this site you see women probing friend and family issues, co-worker problems, relationship concerns, seeking advice to make things better, to feel better even when they feel great.

For a lot of guys if they are happy they don't go digging around to try to make it better ... if its not broken don't fix it type of thing. They are less prone to come here or the mens forum worrying about a friend that isn't taking his calls lately and likely lunching with another friend...lol.

I'll take the flack I get for this, but consider me guilty as well... women, by and large DO overanalyze and become over concerned where there is no reason to be... we are always thinking thinking thinking.

Don't bother. It's a site for spammers and nothing more.

Besides, men typically don't talk about sex other than to boast about sexual conquests. They certainly don't ask each other for advice. After all, why would Perfect Sexual Beings need any help?

...it's because when men think about "sex" they rather go to a porn site instead of analyze a problem and solve it. They get the job done and then talk about recipes.
