    Caught Masturbating & Whoa!

I'm a 35 year old happily married male. Our home is close to the beach so relatives often stay with us so we are always very considerate and quiet even though no one would probably care.

On a recent Saturday afternoon my wife was at work and I was alone. I had checked out some amateur videos online and of course got a bit worked up. I went out onto our balcony which is not visible to anyone outside of it. As soon as I started I thought I heard a car outside but thought if it was someone they would knock.

. As I was relaxing afterward to pick up my drink and I heard a voice say, "Wow. That was interesting." It scared the(edit) outta me and I was immediately embarrassed to see it was my 32 year old married sister standing in the doorway. I began apologizing profusely and she said not to worry about it "it's a normal thing." She said she'd been there about 10 minutes. She stepped out the door with a kitchen towel and instead of handing it to me she immediately began to towel me off. It startled me and I snatched the towel from her and went inside.

After I had time to calm down we talked and she thought because they came down almost every weekend it would just be OK to walk in like usual. She apologized I tried to laugh it off but the damage was done. I was terribly embarrassed that somehow my wife would find out or my sister would embarrass me further by telling mutual friends. About an hour later she went into the guest room to change into her suit but before doing so she walked out completely naked and asked me if it would make me feel better if I watched her do the same thing so we would be even. I declined and tried to laugh it off telling her we were no longer teenagers when kids do it together.

Now I am so angry with her that I do not even want to see her again and each time my wife and I have sex I feel horribly guilty about not telling her what happened. I have a hole growing in the pit of my stomach which will probably turn into an ulcer. Am I taking this way too hard or has society progressed to the point that masturbating by both genders separately or together has just become another "thing to do?" Has anyone else ever been caught like this and what the heck did you do about it. I feel like (edit)

It's normal for partners to masturbate together. It's not normal for siblings to masturbate together.

IMO there's nothing for you to feel guilty about. Someone walked in on your private time and space without any kind of forewarning, shame on that person, you did nothing wrong. If telling your wife would make you feel better, then by all means do, I seriously doubt that any wife would take offense hearing a story like that from their husbands.

Your sister, on the other hand... That entire part just... creeped me out. I don't have siblings so don't know what teenage brothers and sisters get up to, but I'm pretty sure that that sort of thing would be a big no-no for adults. Hmmmm.

Your sister was coming on to you. She saw you masturbating and got excited. I think its VERY unlikely she will tell anyone. She may have had fantasies about you for a long time, and let them get the better of her.

If nothing else happens, I'd just pretend it didn't happen - she will probably do the same.

If she does mention it again, you can be more direct and say (still with a smile), "sorry, I'm not into incest".

          your sister is a freak

if i caught my brother masturbating i would probably think it was hilarious and get out of there before he saw me,

but i would NOT offer to let him watch me

and i certainly would NOT towel him off!

if you tell your wife that part it will most likely end your relationship with one or the other. if you don't tell your wife, and your sister does ... your wife could seriously freak.

keep in mind if you do tell your wife the whole thing, your sister will almost certainly deny it.

sooooooo ... i would say nothing. if your sister says something to your wife, tell your wife you were too embarrassed to tell her.

            probably the best answer is

but get over it ...and do not encourage your sister for talking on this matter further....

I feel exactly the same. Im more shocked at the fact she had been standing there for 10 minutes!......if i had walked in on my brother masturbating i would have screamed my head off!

Hmm, everyone talks about confronting your wife which you most definitely should tell her, especially if it makes you feel so guilty. It's very important you don't let a hole form, there's no reason she shouldn't understand why you're embarrassed. But I also thing you need to confront your sister about how uncomfortable she made you feel, don't mention incest, just let her know you didn't think that was appropriate.

I walked in on my brother once and I quickly closed the door, it was never spoken of. XD

It is not normal for siblings to masturbate together, not as teenagers, not as adults. If this is not just a letter to penthouse , I think you should tell your wife. Keeping a secret like this could backfire and your guilt would manifest itself in other ways.

If your sister genuinly 'caught you' and came on to you and you turned her down, there is nothing you should feel very guilty about but your sentence that I quoted makes me wonder if the two of you have a history of doing this type of activity in the past, if so that could be where the guilt is coming from.

If any of that did occur I would suggest counseling, and telling your wife and suggesting to your sister that she get counseling as well.

I wouldn't recommend telling (again assuming this isn't just a fantasy). The sister may have had a fantasy and didn't realise how upsetting it would be. If nothing like this has happened before of after, I'd just drop it. Otherwise you will drive a wedge between your sister and your wife.

The only person who did something wrong is your sister, and I don't see anything to be gained from telling.
