Maybe, but most of the time after my wife and I have sex, she says how much she liked it and that we need to do it more often. Then usually another month or two goes by before she is interested again. Maybe for her that IS "more often".
He may have a similar reaction that he enjoys sex once it starts, but can't get in the mood to start.

SP, best of luck on this endeavor. I hope everything will work out in the end. I grew up in a small town and clearly remember the rules of living in a small town. I only left because of job opportunities.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

You are such a beautiful lady. I know you seem a little on the tomboyish side and to me, thats sexy. I think maybe you can have some fun stepping out of your comfort zone and wowing him with whatcha got :P
I know me, I am a bit girly and wear heels and sexy dresses etc often, so much so that I think my boyfriend is probably like 'yawn, lingerie - again, sigh'. lol.
Every once in a while I'll come over in some yoga pants and a tank with my hair in a pony and some sneakers with no make up and he practically attacks me. Guys like variety.
Since you seem to be the no make up type, less girly girl type... step out and throw on some heels and a lil dress and surpise him every now and then.
Keep him on his toes. Sometimes when you are with a guy for a long time, they think they've seen all you have -- show him there are more tricks where those came from and have fun yourself.
Not just about teasing and exciting him, but for you, trying something new can be just as fun and dangerous feeling... when you step outside of what your comfort zone is!Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.Comment

LOL'S.. Well he did go out with you, fall for you, without the makeup and I am of the impression that so many men prefer a woman without it, a natural beauty as you do
And, then there's "Men"... fortunately when I re-coloured my hair, he noticed lol's, but most guys wouldn't have a clue what we do..
But, yessum, they certainly notice underwear

A comment about bananas and fruits: They don't help, at least not in my case. He has 2 bananas and an apple every day, 5 days a week. No improvement.
When somebody avoids sex for personal reasons and it's not his SO to blame then he comes up with a million excuses or possibilities to put the blame on something else other than his thoughts or issues.
I'm glad there's progress, just don't let him go back to blaming everything else (food/weight/height/weather/temperature) other than himself for this situation.
I also get the "it was great, we should do it more often" but we never do it more often. To heck with it, it makes no sense.Comment
