I agree with Virgile, your brain can get used to the chemicals released in your brain and then masturbation can become an addiction.
And, you see, since you're happy with masturbating what you miss from a relationship is not the sex, but the companionship, love, cuddles etc. Sex is a MUST in every relationship. If you'd masturbate less you'd miss sex more too. But when you make masturbation so enjoyable then you're physically satisfied and only need cuddles and kisses. So... be careful. Women need sex too.
My fiance has told me almost exactly what you've written in your last post and we rarely have sex.Comment

It's too much only if it negatively affects your sexual relationship with your SO.
A week ago, when I was working from home, I was so turned on so I took care of myself twice, then had great sex with my wife that evening. She never knew the difference.
Then last Friday, when I was at home and everybody else was at school and work, I did it four times. We had a family trip this weekend so I knew there wasn't any chance of having sex, so I went for it. The fourth time was to just see if I can cum four times in a couple of hours. And I did. I'm still amazed.
I'm wondering if my sex drive will ever taper off. I'm 44, but feel like I have the drive of when I was 22. If anything it's getting stronger, not weaker. Geesh.
(I'm only admitting to this because of the anonymity of the internet!)
Should my wife know about my high sex drive and what I have the energy to do, or should I keep playing it down??? (I've been playing down my sexual needs for decades until recently) I thought about telling her after we had sex that night that I could do that after two sessions with myself earlier in the day.Comment

That can only be good news, both for you and your wife. I think that your wife should definitely know about your sex drive, it can only work for your advantage and you can only come up with something new to do together.

However, I'd advise you not to tell her about masturbating before or after sex, let alone twice. It's harmless, but makes a bad impression on you SO. If your sex life is great, just don't make it a subject at all.Comment

Work out to exhaustion!
Run, workout, stay active...keep your mind busy on a project! Thats why I run, workout, and keep active! It helps a lot. It's not good to imbalance your brain like that!! I am without a partner, and believe me it can drive you nuts if that's all your doing. My husbands been gone almost 3 years and it is hard to find someone to keep up with me because of my late husbands sexual appetite/routine. Now I am in the habit of doing it at least 3 times a day. But some days I stop myself and go walk the beach or ride the bike to take my mind off of it. Also I have my artwork too! You can do it!
LOL!!
One word love: Curiosity, you long for freedom, you long to do what you want to do because you want it, to act on selfish impulse. You want to see what it's like. One day you won't be able to resist! Live Your Dreams!Comment
