Seriously, why do women choose to wear something neutral or comfortable or not so comfortable and sexy? My girlfriend is a typical case. A beautiful body, but that is not the point, super intelligent, sensitive, faithful, just a super woman for me. I love her, no problem. But I wonder what it would be like if she wore sexy underwear. Why are we men exposed to sexy idols in all media only to find our fantastic girlfriends and wives wearing pyjamas and night lotion and whatever makes us forget sex at least that night. And from time to time we fail and have a one night stand, be it during a relationship or when single and to our big surprise this one night woman is wearing just what we thought was only a fantasy of Hollywood and porn directors. It seems like you splendid, wonderful, gorgeous women only wear what we men want when you are ready for something wild and occasional.

Women tend to wear sexy underwear or clothes when they want to seduce their partner, have a special night, or want sex. Why they don't do it every day?:

- Wearing sexy underwear every single night will not make it a special sight. And women simply cannot have 100 different pairs of sexy underwear in their closet, so wearing the same sexy underwear every night has the risk of them becoming repetitive. Why you find those girls in the media sexy is because it's always a different girl, wearing underwear she was paid to wear, nothing she will wear at night when she's off the screen, and it's simply because it sells. If you ask that same girl you see on TV if she goes to bed with the same string she's showing herself, or pyjamas, I guarantee you she will say the latter.

- Because women are not sex objects who have to be dressed in a sexy manner just to be a stimulating sight for their partner.

- Because sexy underwear are not comfortable.

- Porn 'actresses' wear what they are told to be wear for show. You can't possibly believe that this is what they wear 24/7.

Buy your girlfriend a pair of sexy underwear and suggest she wears it. Suggest she buys something new herself. Ask her why she doesn't dress in a sexy manner more often, or tell her you'd like that. But don't expect it to be something that happens daily.

You're asking why a woman rather wear something comfortable instead of something uncomfortable just because somebody else wants her to?

How would you feel if your girlfriend wanted you to wear uncomfortable underwear just because she'd like to look at you in it? Would you do it regardless the soreness and discomfort and even if it made walking difficult?

It's much more simple than it sounds.

Take that one night stand, make a gf out of her.. a wife and see if she wants to wear garter belts and thigh highs every single night -- uh... she wont.

Rest assured that if your gf/wife... was to go out on a one night stand affair ... she'd wear the sexy underwear for the other guy Its what people do when they are feeling naughty, sexy etc. But there doesn't have to be an affair to make someone feel naughty and sexy... you can have that (and its 100% better) in a relationship.

I've been with my boyfriend a few years and I wear lingerie 2 or 3 days a week, I wear boyshort comfy underwear a couple times a week and bikini/thongs a couple times a week.

His reaction to me in yoga pants is the same as me in a little black dress with my boobs popping out of the top.

He doesn't care what underwear I wear, I personally like to occasionally wear the lingerie when I'm feeling 'sexy'. If your wife isn't doing that... perhaps she isn't feeling sexy, ask yourself what you have also fallen into a routine on and see if you are not equally guilty in letting the flame flicker out.

If you arent doing the little things that make her feel like a hot mama, try doing them. You might be surprised at what you unleash when you inspire it in a woman.

I read a survey once that said guys prefer us in cute lil tshirts and panties for bed anyway. That the sexy lingerie is cool for occasion but they just want to see us in what best shows off our ASSETS :P There are many comfortable undergarments that do!

My underware consists of Bras and French knickers. I love wearing them and find them very comfy. my boyfriend goes wild for them too - so im quite lucky! ha!

Oh that is such a good point. Sexy Panties are EXPENSIVE. Comfy ones you can get 3 for 10 bucks lol. Sexy ones? A bra and panties set from Vicky's can set you back 100 bucks easy.

I am myself a femminist, and don't want women to be sexual objects, but I just wonder - it's not just at night, its' also in the streets, it seems that certain women just couldn't care less what they look like to men and that's what I don't get and other women wear something sexy basically every day. I tried to do what you suggest with my ex. I bought her a pair of sexy stockings, we tried that from time to time, but to her it was a kind of sex toy, not real clothes! I just gave up then. It was not natural for her to look sexy at night. And it was the same with almost all my girlfriends. It seems some women just don't feel any kind of interest to look sexy just for the fun of it. Of course, it is their holy right, but I don't get it. I prefer educated, intelligent women, but it seems, especially in our country, that wearing sexy stuff goes with being stupid and vice versa.

You could say, why don't you go out with (I am not married to her, just FYI) those women who you consider looking sexy. It's because almost all of them are incredibly superficial and materialistic in our country.

And comfort, of course, i am not talking about wearing a g-string 24/7 and fish net stockings and red high heals but I mean, like, never? I am really not criticizing my gf, just wondering why so many women totally ignore this stuff. I remember I had one gf from New Zealand, she was a player. To her, clothes were part of sex and sex was part of life. Actually, all such women who had fun wearing sexy clothes changed partners like socks. And I never heard them complain about how uncomfortable their clother are. Well, wearing nothing instead of panties might be quite comfy.

I personally LOVE dressing sexy... fishnets and thigh highs are apart of my routine clothing every single week. Heels all the time. I do my my hair and make up daily, my nails, work out, watch what I eat... I want to look good for me, and for my boyfriend.

But he NOTICES me... he gives me attention, he tells me I look sexy and beautiful and can't keep his hands off me.

Lots of women get all dooded up and their man doesn't even notice... which would not inspire them to go through all the trouble if he's not going to appreciate it.
