One of my ex'es didn't like me watching porn. It made him insecure as he thought that since I had porn on my computer after us having sex every day, some times multiple times a day, I was some sort of sex starving person who could cheat on him. I stopped watching but he never really believed that.

I've found that most guys say they're fine with it, but when it actually comes up, they tend to be jealous. They usually don't SAY they're jealous but the signs are all there. Jealous of toys and porn, mainly because they think if I'm using those things for sexual pleasure I should always 100% of the time be using them for my sexual pleasure instead of the toys or porn. Even if I had sex with them twice a day, 6 days a week and used my toy once....."well wouldn't you have rather had the real thing?!"

Sounds like it can be the same for both genders.

I'm still of the opinion that sex toys, porn, masturbation are all versions of the same thing, and gender doesn't matter. I think all are fine IF they are not substituting for intimacy with your partner. They are all a problem if you are using them instead of being intimate with your partner.
