Firstly please don't attempt to have sex if you are under age in your country. You can both get into heaps of trouble. If you are both of consenting age then the people here will help you navigate around sexual issues.

Waiting would be better for a number of reasons, Thomas brings up one, that being if you are of age where you live. Access to proper birth control is important. Being protected against STIs is another big concern. In the long run you will both be better off if you limit yourself to learning and exploring ways to pleasure each other without intercourse. You will learn more about your own and his arousal and responses and that can serve you well all your life.

Personally I would wait, I know when you are 14 your boyfriend seems like the one but a month and 2 weeks is not long enough to lose your virginity to someone, especially at that young age. Next day the cops show up she faulsly claims to have been raped. He is it deep s any way on the question of did they have any sexual contact his brief informed him 'No Comment' why cos he'd be on a statutary charge of sexual asault

Personally it's up to you but when I was 14 I would have said ANYTHING to get in side a girls knickers. A month is not a long time, give it 6 and review it, posting here. The right guy will wait and value you more a shallow guy will move on.

The sad reality is a 14 yo boy will not be able to keep this monumental conquest (sex with you) to himself (nice guy or not) and within a matter of weeks everyone round school will know. Personaly I try not to judge but I am willing to think that a others will

I've had a similar experience. I met my boyfriend when I was 14 as well, but we took things REALLY slow.. I actually wanted to wait with having sex though (I felt I was way too young myself..), and he waited 3 years for me to feel ready. It was very difficult for him to wait that long, but it is possibly if he truly respects and cares for you.

The legal issues can be serious - I don't know what country you are in. I would recommend against it .If you decide to have sex then:

Be careful you don't get pregnant. Do you really know about birth control? A pregnancy at you age could be terrible for both of you. This is VERY important.

Be careful about diseases. This is probably the first time for both of you - but you never really know.

The thing I'd worry about most with a 14 year old having sex is, as others have mentioned, a possible lack of education on the act. Sex education in so many countries is severely lacking. Heck, time and time again we see ADULTS posting here, completely clueless, even the basics eluding them.

Do some homework. Take care not to end up with a disease, or with a baby, OR with disappointment if the guy seems to get more pleasure out of it than you.

Just think about these matters seriously, in an adult way, that's my advice.

I'm amazed that even across cultures, people can be so similar. Well said, Futureboy! I'm embarassed to agree completely. The OP needs to give this some time. Wait for 6 months to a year and see how you both feel then. If this relationship does not last, I fear that you will regret having sex so early. If you do decide to have sex, make sure that you practice safe sex. Don't think you will be one of the "lucky ones". Getting pregnant or contracting and STD at such an early age can louse up your life forever.
