A very common story that women over 45 'go off sex'. A combination of meds and menopause are probably the cause. Either way she needs to talk to a doctor she feels comfortable with, provided she wants to get her mojo back of course.

Personally I am 55 and as a few have said, I'm having more and better sex now than I ever had and loving it! Ok, I had no issues with menopause at all and am not on meds of any kind but hallelujah for that and also am now divorced and in a new r/ship.

I have a friend who is 45 and is starting to go thru menopause and has no interest in sex, but she also has no interest in 'fixing it' which I think is more a symptom of the relationship than a physical thing. A lot to do with sex is to do with whats in your head and you heart.

Well, I'm 51 and not necessarily hornier than ever, but the sex drive is still there in full force. I don't necessarily want to have sex everyday (although I could easily) but the quality of sex I think does get better as we get older. I know for myself that I feel that I'm a more capable lover even though I may not be able to go at it three or four times a day like I did when I was in my twenties. Now, I'd much rather spend an hour making love and enjoying the experience.

Now, my wife on the other hand...........................................
