Well, last night, passionate kissing was foreplay enough for me! once we started having sex I came in minutes. then we reverted back to a bit of post-foreplay? haha back to playing about a bit

Depends, if he's focusing directly on my clit, i can only stand about 10 to 15 minutes of that, Ooh it will make me cum, however it will also become far to sensitive to touch and makes any other sex besides anal just about impossible....

Can I make an observation in between these comments?

What about the guy here? I have sort of an issue that I find odd... We seem to have to find a "happy medium" in how much time we spend in foreplay because though it definately works her (and I) up, if we make forefplay last too long (over say an hour), she will orgasm quickly, and even have numerous, but (at least in my case) I can't seem to orgasm easily at all. Seems the longer we foreplay the longer I go without getting "that feeling" and working it up to an orgasm. Anyone else experience this? Now don't get me wrond, sometimes this is a bonus, if she wants to go marathon, but if she doesnt I can be somewhat left behind... Not sure if you all know what I mean here but in any case, we have to find a happy medium with us, and make foreplay last just long enough and not too long. I think its all dependent upon each individual.

            Colorado,
A good part of what I was describing was a means for women to keep it jiucy all day. Staying on simmer, so to speak, can mean that a woman is ready for sex very quickly. In my own case, when I'm happy I don't really need foreplay but it can still be nice sometimes to have a nice slow start.
I think it's best when you mix it up. I love a good quickie. In fact that is a frustration my current lover, he just isn't interested in those.
Sigh, the LOML got so he wouldn't anything but quickies and this man won't do anything but slowies. Balance is best, some of both and plenty in between

Agreed. I hate it when guys treat foreplay like a chore they have to get out of the way.

No problem, I didnt take offense to anything, and staying juicy/on simmer is always a good thing!
                Hope I didn't offend either...

                Thanks WC

It's like asking "what is the right color of red for ketchup?"....everyone is different.

I agree with WildChild and would say further...why don't you ask your partner?

My partner likes it as long as she can stand it.

Colorado in your case it might be good to trade off - one night is all about you. Could be that you both plan for one orgasm for her and then what ever will get you happy and satisfied and the next night for her. Even on her nights, I don't know if this is true for your lady but, she may be happy with just two orgasms. Woman vary but most women don't want an endless string of orgasms every time, one or two will do. In any event, she may be happy with a lot less time spent on foreplay, have you spoken to her about it? Try to fix the timing so that it satisfying for both of you, she may not mind less if it will ensure that you are happy too.

Ask your lady how to adjust things so that you get as much satisfaction as she gets, If you are frustrated, you can't feel motivated. Fit in a quickie on a regular basis so you don't have to worry about any thing - just ride off into the sunset.

I agree Allie, and thats kind of what I was saying we (Wife and I) have to do... we have to find that "happy medium" so we both get enough of the Foreplay and yet both, enjoy the main event as well.
...and as usual, you are right on the money - her choice is 1 or two most of the time.
