Rational? No. True? Unfortunately, yes. It's getting better though. I just keep bumping into them which always ends up being a trigger. So here I am again. Back to this nonsense. -
They are all ex's. She's with you, not them. I've dated men who were shorter than me and a foot taller. I like my height or a little over, I'm 5'6' and much over 6' kissing is a little more awkward. What it really comes down to is how much she likes you. Everything else is irrelevant next to that.Comment

Is 5ft 10 short or a decent height for a guy?Comment

I'm starting to wonder if you are TRULY "bumping" into this guy or if you're purposely putting yourself into situations for it to happen? Are you sure that's not the case?
Besides, yes, 5'10" is in the average range for men. Actually a bit above average according to the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) conducted from 1999-2002 which says 5 foot 9.2 inches is average.Comment

Trust me. I'm not. They just happen to live in or near the same neighbourhood that I do. The last thing I want is to see them. I just have bad luck.Comment

Do you realise this is a fixation? That for nearly 4 months, this has been the topic fore-most in your mind, and consequently, that not only is affecting your life, but your relationship and how that is flowing (or not)....
So a woman whom chooses bad boys, after bad boys and one day, ends up with a beautiful, loving, caring man, quite the opposite, does so because, she came to realisation that she was worth more, and so she found him, after finding herself..
Put that to your relationship...because the fact that you are different to them, means, she has had enough of that "type" and wants what you are giving her, therefore, wants you..
Time to laugh at them when you see them (not to their face naturally), but in the knowledge that she has grown and doesn't want the bad boys that treat her as if she is just a person, rather you who treats her as a woman, a person, a friend, a lover.....so who won?

thanks for asking
The relationship is going well, believe it or not. My bad luck just seems to lead me to her past. Then I get jealous again. It sucks.Do you realise this is a fixation? Fair enough.Trust me. I'm not. They just happen to live in or near the same neighbourhood that I do. The last thing I want is to see them. I just have bad luck.
The thing of it is, you can reword your question in a million different ways and the answer will ALWAYS be the same. We're not going to change our perspective on this...and when you see this many people, consistently for this long, telling you the same things over and over...you must know there is some validity to it. You seem like a decent fella....but this obsession of yours needs professional help. We know it...and so do you.Comment
