I shouldn't be surprised really, I guess I'm just more disappointed than anything.

I am sure everyone checked the units before omgd'ing the 11.1, 13.4 and so on lol. Conversion: 5.1 inches in the states, 5.5 in Canada and the UK. Kinda what people have already been trying to explain ever since anyone has been curious about the question. People are interested in this stuff, crazy. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

They incorporate the size of all, real or fake (unless otherwise stated) because fake or not they are still women being polled. But that is why the average has gone up over the years in materialistic countries like the States. The obsession with vanity, coupled with people being able to afford (or having their SO pay for it) fake boobs now results in the higher than expected averages. The D average, which I would take a guess is a very full D not a just barely in there D, in the states is not surprising to me personally.I have to wonder... if the data in the US for breast size is based on natural size or if augmented sizes are also mixed in there. Just out of curiosity, not because it really matters. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

Don't those of you that have a "large chest", say a very full D or larger, with all that you know and experience first hand, find it interesting that those that don't have it, want it?
Having been married to a large busted woman, we always found it "interesting" how many woman wanted what she had and, after all that she went through with it, how much she wanted to get hers reduced.
As many of you know, I paid several thousand dollars for her to get a reduction and it was one of the best investments I have ever made.

Same as curly hair, verses straight, blonde verses brunette, short verses tall....
Mainly it's commercial expectations, actresses/models and in-security as to why anyone wants anything that they don't have.
Yet, we can get our hair curly or straight
We can colour our hair
We can wear high shoes
And, we can wear push up bras.
See how the World decides to make money out of "insecurities" ?
Having said that , it's not necessarily in-secure to want to have a "change" that's normal
PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

lol At barely a full A cup I can easily say I want to have larger breasts, I can say that because I would feel better about how I feel appearance wise. Not D size large but C yes. However that is all in my fantasy world. In my fantasy world I am very good looking, I consider myself attractive in my fantasy world, I am what other guys perceive is hot and worth chasing and ogling over-I am 22 I am referring to these "men" and not married men who swoop in saying "love yourself princess"...not those men, I am referring strictly to men my age hence the words 'hot', 'very good looking', 'sexy' in reference to strict vanity. Fantasy is not reality therefore I can separate that short desire and fully accept that I would never actually want to artificially inflate my chest with a couple months salary. Instead I wear a push up bra lol and when I see even that faint bit of cleavage I am happy because I have just made myself believe that I have at least something going on. All I want is to fill out a bra, which I do in a push up obviously so in reality I have no need to buy some fake boobs. But in my fantasy world they are sure there.with all that you know and experience first hand, find it interesting that those that don't have it, want it?There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment
