Can I guess what might be a part of this? I think sex drive can go down when you're getting too much of your partner. This could be that you're around them a lot or don't do many great things outside of those you do with your partner. This is just my thoughts here!

When you just start out the relationship it's great, you have your life as a single person established and they're this amazing new thing that you want in so many ways . Then I think if in your excitement you incorporate them into your life a little too much (or too much for you and your needs) I think it can become too much - sort of like too much of a good thing, perhaps. I think this can take away some of your own identity because so much of you is about and tied to them. Losing your identity a little in being so coupled up can then ruin your individuality and an important part of that - your sex drive.

I guess because it takes two to tango/have sex and if 'two become one' a bit too much, that's just like one person having sex on their own which isn't as fun :P.

Hope I helped, again, just my thoughts here.
