Sorry I would rather go to the county and meet the people in person or at least do some research on the county. Going to Skype would be like going to a porn chat line from the way it is discribed.

Skype.

Many years ago, working in a billing department
for a number of hospitals, we began to complain
about one;

"Lutheran is always late."

"I'm getting very fed up with Lutheran."

And the techie jumped up..."Excuse me, I'm Lutheran."

We all make judgments based on what we have seen.
Inlovagin, you have been to Turkey and met nice people. Kaylar and Rav have been on Skype and met less-than-stellar individuals.
How can you be expected to think well of a place when you have been in contact with 900 horrible examples?
Of course, you're not going to find the exemplifications of African-American culture in the unemployment line.
You're not going to find the greatest white Americans in the big houses of Hollywood.
You're not going to find the most upstanding men in the bar at noon, nor the most agreeable women at a battered women's shelter.
Maybe they're not "looking in the right place," so to speak, in order to form a "correct" opinion of Turkey, but that's the place they happen to be, so that's the opinion they form.
Also ... does anyone know why Housewife doesn't come around anymore? I miss her little recipes She always had a very traditional spin on things, and though I didn't always agree with her, she always had a valid point that needed to be made.

I read over the posts Rav and I made, and it was pretty
clear we were discussing something on Skype that we
experienced.

As it is two different people, from two different parts
of the world, and as I mentioned, a chap from South
Africa and a chap from England experienced the same
on Skype, I think one has to have a comprehension
problem to assume we were talking about Turkey, all
Turks, yada yada boom.

I gave the example of the Lutheran fellow who instantly
jumps up with I'm Lutheran for the same reason.

i do not care what eastern men think about western women, they dislike western women because they have no power over us! they control the women in their society, and they can not stand the fact that western women can make their own choices with their lifes and do what they wish with their own bodies.

i think that is what you have a problem with! we can do what we like! and we do not have to save our virginity if we do not want too.

I have a lot of Turkish men come up to me and ask me for sexual favors and it bothers me. Why do they do that? It's not because they're horny or want some fun. It's because the women in their own country won't give it up. It's a shame really.

Perhaps because your dress is suggestive? It certainly would follow your tongue.
