I get aroused when I touch myself but I really do not get off masturbating, so what's the point, I thought. It doesn't compare to how it is when my husband does the job. When I was single, I just kept busy with school work and played the piano, occasionally watched some porn online but it doesn't do me much. And mind you, I like looking at women's nice bodies (I'm not a lesbian, but maybe a bi(ke)-curious! LOL).

Maybe a little bit of both. My upbringing probably has a lot to do with it as well - "you're not supposed to masturbate - it's a sin". And I really was sheltered so I never had the urge to try anything, not until I met my husband, J.

I have masturbated but never could achieve orgasm. I tried when I was younger, my sister thought I was frigid because I'm diabetic. Since I've been with my husband, I achieve orgasm every time we have intercourse, sometimes more than once. When he was out of town for 2 weeks last month, I got so horny I would get soaking wet just thinking about him. It was embarrassing at school. I tried masturbating to get some relief, but I just made myself more frantic and horny. I'll stick to cold showers from now on, masturbation don't work for me.sigpic
Not thinking about anything is Zen. Once you know this, walking, sitting, or lying down, everything you do is Zen.

I think you will achieve the ability to climax from masturbating, just don't give up. Right now, being with your husband is enough. Being able to climax with masturbation is one more thing that you can bring to the table in the future to spice up things. Your husband would probably like to look directly in your eyes when you climax. Its a fun thing to do.I have masturbated but never could achieve orgasm. Since it makes you extra horny, masturbate before you two are going to be together, so you have relief, even though it is somewhat delayed. It may make orgasms easier to achieve.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

I voted yes. Like most women i don't get as much out of it however my opinion on masterbation isn't to achieve orgasm all the time. Sometimes it Can be a mechanism to amplify my thought process lol. My husband and I have an extraordinary open communication process but he also has a job that can take him away for a few days to a few weeks. We both have extremely high sex drives to the point on any given days off we could go at it 4 or more times in a day. So compromise had to to come in somewhere. I learned to enjoy it when he suggested phone sex, for the first time I climaxed without his physical touch but could hear him in my ear and then there are the obligatory pics on both sides that are shared. Not conventional I know but it worked. So I guess the point is, it's not my favorite thing, I prefer him to be with me watching me do it, but under the right circumstances it can be a great substitute.Comment
