This morning I had a doctor appointment at 8AM. Great news, doctor says my incisions are healed and I can get back to my normal routine AND have sex if I want to. Boy do I want to. We went to the Sleep Train mattress store and found a Tempur pedic mattress on sale because of cosmetic damage. It had a small tear in the side of the mattress at the head. Nobody would ever see it any way and we got $450 off the regular price. At the time, I didn't care how much it cost, I just wanted to get home and in the bedroom.

I know that my beliefs differ from most others here. If I openly oppose my husbands wishes, I feel guilty. I guess you would call it being subservient but I see it as my duty and responsibility. If only hubby would be thrifty like me and slow down with his spending, my life would be perfect. I can't bring myself to argue with him about this, I will continue to try and change him by setting an example.

They delivered the Tempur mattress and set it up yesterday. After I did my morning chores I tried it out for a short nap. It is like a dream for sleeping. I want one for our room but I know we can't afford it.

I guess the size difference won't let you switch it with the one in your bedroom?

Funny. I love the Tempurpedic but it has been bothering my wife's back. We may replace it with a Sleep by Number.

My sister from Hawaii is here for a visit. She slept on the Tempurpedic in the guest room last night. This morning she asked us what kind of mattress it was because it was like sleeping on a cloud. She likes it so much she'll try and get one for her room at home.

If you're unsure you can always "try it out" by getting a foam mattress pad to go over your existing mattress. It's a cheaper way to try out the difference.
