Anyone else like this? To be honest, I even don't mind if I don't orgasm from sex. I can get a lot of pleasure by the act of sex itself...even if it's just foreplay. Heck, I can get satisfied after a good makeout session!

Are you unable to have multiple orgasms?
I feel like I can't. My friend says I have a mental block. Once I come once, I feel satisfied and feel "done." If I keep going at it after the first orgasm, I feel numb. Like I don't want to be stimulated anymore.

Amongst women who can orgasm, a percentage will be able to achieve multiple orgasms with the right techniques, right toys and/or right partners. The rest will not. You are normal.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

The conversation came up, because I was talking about how I feel bad if I come before a man. My friend goes "Just have another one." I said "I don't know about that, because I don't have multiple orgasms." A doctor told me that it's not unheard of for some women to not have multiple orgasms. Every woman is different, just like every man is different. Some men can't orgasm from blowjobs, while some can."Dating is like slow dancing. The clinical definitiong based on biology/physiology is when you have multiple peaks within a single excitory phase. So you have the build-up, then a plateau (all women do this), then a spike with orgasm, you bearly come down before you go back up again. The orgasms are seconds apart. Sometimes they can feel like a single orgasm that lasted 5-10 minutes. Then, when you are finally done, do you have the refractory period. If you are having another after 15 minutes, then thats a second orgasm that had its own build-up, plateau and refractory period.
Multiple orgasms are not very common. Only certain women can acheive and has to be the right stimulation to get them there.Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose - Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster (sung by Janis Joplin)Comment

Let me that that, from this one man's experience, many women do not experience multiple orgasms. I have had girlfriends who, once they have had an orgasm, want no further stimulation for a good half hour or so. Sometimes then they are interested in having another go, but sometimes not. They are quite satisfied with one good orgasm.
My wife is different. She can have several in fairly short order. She does not have that interval where she prefers no form of genital stimulation. On the contrary, she likes to keep going until she has had about 3.I do not grow old; if I stop growing, I am old.Comment

I've never had a vaginal orgasm either. I figured that some women just can't, but a male friend tells me "You just haven't met the right man yet.""Dating is like slow dancing. Let the man lead, or you will fall all over your feet"Comment

If your first orgasm is, as you describe 'too intense', casing you to need a break from stimulation then you're doing alright. I would rather have one intense orgasm than several weak ones.
I've never had a prostate orgasm, and I don't worry that there's anything wrong with me. You need to focus on what works for YOU, if you can have orgasms which are 'too intense' via the g-spot or clitoris then I would at least not worry yourself about a vaginal orgasm.
My experience is that women usually have a preference or gravitate towards which orgasm they prefer (which I'm guessing may well be the one they are most easily able to achieve). My ex would insist on getting on top whilst I remained still with my legs together so she could very quickly give herself a g-spot orgasm. This was easy for her. She probably had about 5 vaginal orgasms in 3.5 years and had clitoral orgasms occasionally from oral (which she liked but was very self conscious when I did it) but had one EVERY time, in no time flat with her rabbit vibrator which she used alone, with me or in front of me. She usually wouldn't have more than 2 orgasms per lovemaking session but we (especially in the beginning) had sex several times a day. Another ex had had exclusively clitoral orgasms from going on top, her clitoris had a very small hood and was positioned on her vagina quite high so she could ride me and it would rub against my penis, we had a lot of sex and clitoris orgasms were all she had - if I'm totally honest when I was with her age 25 - I didn't realize women had different types of orgasms (I thought it was just the clitoris) she'd just tell me when she had cum, I'd be pleased with myself and then let myself cum.
When I first started having sex at 19 I would cum almost straight away but would be hard seconds later or would be so excited I'd even stay hard once I'd ejaculated. I could easily cum 4 times a day but the sum of the time I'd send having penetrative sex would amount to just a few minutes. I'm 32 now and have much better control, but cannot repeat perform like that anymore, 2-3 times a day is the maximum. However, the orgasms are much more satisfying from a longer love making session, I enjoy the one intense one more than 3 or 4 which I had no control over. For me the build-up intensifies the orgasm.
There are no set rules for orgasms, if you enjoy your one intense orgasm why worry? Some girls struggle to do even that, why beat yourself up over something your friend said/claims she can do? I'm of the school of thought that one big orgasm is better than a couple of little ones, and thats me speaking (for myself obviously) from an empirical perspective."The greatest enemy will hide in the last place you will ever look" Julius CaesarComment

Magnetism,
I would say you have nothing to worry about. The way you describe yourself is completely in sync with women I have known, and I do not think they, or anyone else, considered them odd.
Ditto with the vaginal orgasm thing. From what I have read (and from some experience), a significant percentage of women do not reach orgasm from simply having a penis in their vaginas. I had a gf once who really liked having intercourse in what some call the "spoon" position, man behind, reaching around and giving clitoral stimulation during intercourse. We were regularly able to have simultaneous orgasms that way. That was just fine.I do not grow old; if I stop growing, I am old.Comment
