I didn't know this. The assertion in the OP's third question

"women [don't] generally want it as much as guys"

    is true then?
If you look at the grand scheme of things, looking at many many many women to get that general consensus rather than just a mere single anecdote or small handful the answer is yes women do seem to have a lower libido when it comes to sexual dysfunction. The key phrase being sexual dysfunction meaning a difficulty during sexual activity, more women will say they have a lower libido than that of men. A man may say this is absolutely not true because, like you mentioned in your case, a woman may be very desirous of sex and is always wanting it but that does not mean all women are like that nor does it apply to the opposite circumstance. There is absolutely a factor of individuality in it though and one must use that factor in their own relationship at the time rather than comparing it to other individuals.

For the ones with a low sex drive, they just haven't met someone that triggers their desires.... think it's normal for both men and women to have lower sex drives if they're in toxic relationships. The chances of their sex drive increasing is higher if they meet the right person that triggers their sensuality.
I understand what you mean but at the same time this implies that all people have high libidos but it may be masked by such circumstances as a toxic relationship or not being with the right person. That simply is not the case, people can have low libidos because they honestly do not have a sex drive. There are individuals who do not care for sex, do not want sex, will not go searching for it and will not fantasize about it. They may love and enjoy everything about their relationship and the person they are with but they may honestly not give two hoots about sex and thus have no sex drive. To imply that low libidos are due to not finding the right person is simply not true as there is still an aspect of individuality in it all.

People can have low libidos for organic reasons such as low testosterone, too. Lowering inhibitions or heightening desire can counteract such organic problems for a while, but a person will revert to form after a while unless a fix is implemented.

Actually there are a lot of men that also have low sex drives, it just depends on the person.

Because I know for sure I have a pretty high sex drive.

My ex could quite happily have had sex for a couple of hours every night, plus a quickie or two during the day. She was in her mid twenties. This isn't something I could keep up with indefinitely along with work, the gym, and all of my other commitments. She could though and she was a great mom to a three and a six year old.

Yes, I'm aware of this possibility. I wasn't trying to assume that everyone has a high sex drive, but I do feel that there are more women out there that are capable of having higher libidos. I personally don't agree with the OP's assertion. Sure, it might have some degree of truth in the larger scheme as you said, but it shouldn't be difficult to find a woman with a high libido either.

I've definitely been with women who've made my libido increase.

Same here, buddhaboy! I think we all learn what our attraction and sexual triggers are by experience.

I have to agree with Little - I our marriage my sex drive is very low, most of the time I could take or leave it, now my wife is the opposite.

They don't, it must be just you.
