Much as I agree that the endless bickering on the porn threads is annoying and repetitive, everyone believing that they are 110% correct, are we correct is saying that people shouldnt post questions about it? Obviously to these posters it is a huge problem and they dont always feel satisfied by reading older posts. A lot on this forum is repetition. People having problem orgasming, losing interest in sex and many other topics are constantly rehashed and although they are not receiving many replies they are still being posted. So where is the line drawn? Is it the many posts about porn that are the problem or posters that cant resist turning someone else's heartfelt post into a personal boxing match?

EXACTLY! Let anyone ask whatever they want; almost everything on this forum is posted more than once. "I'm having a strange period." "I'm having problems reaching orgasm." "Blahh blah..." Not every porn issue or question is the same- If one porn thread is there, it doesn't mean someone's question is answered in it. And also, I just think Wilhelm and Hotdogg need to make a deal to either NOT go into porn threads, or just quit talking to each other. It is SO ANNOYING. I'm sorry, I'm interested in the porn topic, but not your guys' pathetic bickering. Maybe you two should make a board for your constant nitpicking and keep it there.

Totally agree. I tried to say the same thing on another thread and also a few pages back on this thread. The response I got included a 'taunt' which, it was later explained, was meant for the originator of this poll. It was later edited out. Does it matter if anyone's tired of porn posts when this is supposed to be a place where we can all come for support on any topic? We are all free to pick and choose what we'll read, what we'll answer, and what we won't read or answer. So I guess the point of this poll is to 'set up sides', or is it to get porn related posts banned? It certainly isn't an effort to end the battling.

I am vaguely familiar with that story surrounding the humourous tombstone. I had heard or read something about it a long time ago. I'll have to read up on it. I've never known all of the referrences you referred to however. It just seemed like more than just humour to me. I felt a since of reaching out, perhaps hurt and/or frustration. I will respect your privacy and not pry. I have and will continue to pray for you. I apologize if I made you uncomfortable, that was truly not my intention. My condolences for the loss of your sister. Strange thing about my keen since of intuition, it comes with the "gifts of discernment and prophecy" as well. It's been like that since I was a small chlid. I can't control it. It comes as it pleases. It doesn't always feel like such a gift when I'm helpless to help someone who is hurting.

Yes, yes sir it does. I have been accused of evoking a laugh or two myself on this forum even though the subject matter was serious, at least for me. In my case I think it made some posters uncomfortable though. That is subject to happen sometimes when one is unfamiliar with a particular experience.

If you have not noticed, my story is nothing like his, my tone is nothing like his, and I suspect that you can't handle the fact that there are more people AGREEING with him than YOU.

The man is intelligent, well-spoken, and sensitive. I find his attempts to educate you and all the other self-absorbed losers on here to be a waste of his time, except for where his writings can be read by other people who have experienced pain due to porn.

Focus on what's really important. Keeping the focus on porn and not who writes what is what people want to see, and they have said as much.

i find this humorous. i write posts that:

1. give people information
2. provide an alteranative view
3. debunk faulty information

sometimes all 3, sometimes one or the other. my tone is sarcastic, especially when i'm responding to someone who's being childish & disrespectful. my tone is typically genuine & respectful even when i'm responding to people who disagree vehemently with my opinion.

search around - there are plently of arguments going on in which i'm not involved. plently of personal attacks, none of which originated with me.

if hotdogg writes something silly i'm going to pounce. if she doesn't, i won't.

but i'll make this deal, HD. for every day that i find NO unsolicited pornographic spam in my email inbox, i'll refrain from posting on this board.

I find porn to be a major issue on this website. Everyone had made some solid points and others have spoken there opinion to the fullest. HOWEVER......... There is no wrong or right side to this problem. Its only opinions. Whilhem ( sorry if i spelt your name wrong) and hotdogg are oviously seeing diffrent sides. They may not have had experienced what each other has. They speak what they see and what they feel. This website is a place where women can express the problems in there life confidentially. You cant be shoving your opinions down each others throat ( which has been pointed out before ) You can express it but please do not shove. Once you have expressed your opinion you are done. I have seen that women dont bother dealing with porn forums anymore. Its really sad that this argument has come to that. Women really need help with that and now they will not recieve the help they need.
