Hahaha, you called my Gyno a Quack. That's funny. Don't worry, I was thinking the same thing about him when he said that.

As for everything else, yes, we do that. There are many times i give my boyfriend m body in return to give him his chance. We love each other, its never one way. Its just lately, its getting harder. The less I feel, the more discouraged I get, and sometimes I selfishly rush him because my body gets numb.

I guess you can say it's not fair, and I wish there was a way to feel something, rather than him just uh, thrusting. ): That's technically the main problem.

Thanks to both of you, but yes, I asked my gyno. His answer was to find a man with a larger penis. I um, dont think that was the appropriate response, though. I will try again.

Wow, this makes my blood boil. Sorry, but what a moron! This is why I hate, hate and hate it when people say "Just ask a doctor." Doctors don't always know everything. There are times where I feel like I know my own body than the female doctors I've met.

I'm like you in a lot of ways, OP. I prefer oral over intercourse and have had issues with penetration. There's nothing medically wrong with me. I've read sites that say some women are anatomically built with less sensitive vaginas, or you may be having some sort of mental block or nervousness. You know your body best.

I think a lot of women lie and pretend to enjoy intercourse just for the sake of looking normal. It's unfortunate how society tells what women should and shouldn't like during sex. I guess America isn't so sexually liberal and progressive after all.

no, its quite alright. Is there anyway to make my vagina a bit more sensitive or anything? Maybe that is the case.. Id love it if there were something to make the vagina go crazy like in those cartoons, lmao. Of course, something less crazy. Anyway, me and my partner have been trying and it feels a bit better. We arent doing anything different, just having fun.

          Hi,
I am having a very similar problem. It really sucks. The ONLY way I feel any sort of pleasure is by rough massaging of my clit. Sometimes I use the shower head and only sometimes does that work. Otherwise, I feel nothing. My husband too is very understanding and has tried many different things. He supports me and we have been to doctors but havent had any luck with help. I am not sure what the solution is. Its very frustrating and disappointing because we are so young and this is when its supposed to be fun. We are supposed to be in our prime. I just wanted you to know thatyou are NOT alone. This is happening to girls everywhere. Keep your spirits up and keep trying. I just tried Libido-max for women. Its a pill to help get you in the mood and elevate stimulation. It didnt work for me, but that doesnt mean it wont work for you. I am going to try other things and keep going to the doctor. dont give up. <3 I feel for ya!

Well, for me and my boyfriend, what we are trying, is just having sex. He goes in, and thats it. For the most part, i dont think of anything but him and his penis. We try doggy style, and thats where i feel the most of him. It's good to know that I am not alone. I am sorry you are going through the same problem as me, because trust me, I know how it sucks. For the most part, we keep out distractions and go with the flow... I will try what you suggested, who knows, it might help. Also, i dont know if you are comfortable or not, but try rough sex. If rubbing your clit hard works, have him go fast but hard. I feel more of him, this way. Anyway, do what makes you feel good, and dont think about it as much. It may help.

A friend of mine (he's a guy) once told me he doesn't really get anything out of penetrative intercourse. He was wondering if he was abnormal. According to him he has lots of sex, he just doesn't enjoy it. But he did claim to love getting BJs.

I have the same problem, and I am male. Doc says it comes from the antidepressants I take, but I think there is more to it than that. With guys, our Testosterone levels effect our sexual life. I have to wonder for you if Estrogen does the same for females and if it does, should you be taking an estrogen supplement of some nature.

Hmm, that is a good question. I do wonder if I were to take it... if it would help. Wouldnt be the case that if there were more estrogen, it'll increase female sex drive? The only thing is, I once saw something about it effected your body, as well. Is this true? It was a comedy movie, but still, the last thing I would want is to mess myself up

As far as science currently knows, estrogen does not effect vaginal sensitivity, unless you have vaginal dryness or thinning of the vaginal lining. this usually happens after menopause. Testosterone does effect desire, both in men and women. But the situation described by the OP is not a desire issue.
