Woman on top needs help
We have most of our marriage been man on top, other stuff but mainly that. I have tried many times on top. I sit on top him, I have that downpat. When it comes to up & down thrusting I can't do it, my legs are to short. It's like I can't move. My knees sink into the bed. Boy I hope I'm explaining this right. I know he likes me on top, but usually we end up man on top, because the movement is not there. Help if you understand. I have tried pillows under my knees, but it's odd. thanks -
I'm assuming you mean facing each other? The issues we have with woman on top facing away sounds sort of similar to what you describe. Are you saying your thighs are too short? They can't be. You probably need to position your knees further up along his side so that you are resting more on him than the bed. I think your knees are pointing down into the bed when they should really be more pointing towards his head so that your thighs are parallel with his body.
The movement is in your hips. His too. He can even place his knees up so that you are resting on his legs almost entirely. It's a shallower penetration but less work for you. It also creates a different angle and presses the woman's butt more fully onto the man's legs - which drives me crazy. There's also the cowgirl, where the woman is sitting straight up. But side to side movements, grinding, movement parallel to the lengths of your bodies, and all sorts of variations are possible and comfortable if you position correctly. You could also stand and squat, depending on your level of fitness. It helps to hold hands so that he can help you keep balance if you do that."Those sowing seed with tears
Will reap with a joyful shout." - Psalm 126 -
I had to register for this forum because of how intensely wrong that statement is. Margie, I have the exact same problem. Do you feel like you're on tippy-knees, just sitting on him? Not a whole lot of room for movement, right? In my case, I'm slim with narrower hips than most women because of my build, and he's...a wider guy. Is what it is. Try leaning forward instead of sitting up, and move toward his head and back again, instead of up and down. It's basically reverse missionary.Comment

Yes, after actually paying attention to what was going on last night when I remembered this thread, FireEscape is somewhat correct about this. What was happening in my mind and what actually happens are two different things. My wife's legs were pointed more downwards that I thought in the standard position. I hope that this didn't cause any issues.I had to register for this forum because of how intensely wrong that statement is. Margie, I have the exact same problem. I think saying that I was "intensely wrong" is overstating it, though. Especially since FireEscape didn't say anything much different than I did. I think the basic idea in both of our responses that you have to rest more on your husband will work. One of the other things is that if you sit up for cowgirl you should not underestimate the amount of pressure you can place on your husband's chest with your hands to give your knees a break. My wife used to be afraid until I told her that she could probably do a handstand on my chest without causing me discomfort. Holding hands also helps.
Let us know how it goes."Those sowing seed with tears

This is my all time favourite position - her on top facing me... we very rarely do it because she finds it uncomfortable. she is plus size (same here) and can't move up and down easily, plus I am a little on the 'small' side in the penis dept - but the thought of my wife facing me and her large breasts dangling in my face is a HUGE turn onComment

Girl on top is something that I enjoy, because I am not the one setting the pace.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
