    jns,

I'm glad you've enjoyed your Thai food.

I ain't never been with an Asian chick, not to infer I wouldn't. I know what my preference in women is. I prefer women who look like women & are comfortable being women. It might be that because when I first starting having sex women didn't shave.

In the late 70's my then g/f with whom I had sex often, very often, came over to my apartment. She came over while I was in the shower. She was sitting on my bed when I got out of the shower. She was excited to show me her new fashion statement. She got naked & showed me her shaved crotch. I told her to get dressed, pushed her on her back on my bed where she gave me head. When she was done, I told her that I didn't like her looking like a child. She never shaved it off again. We were in an intense, long-term relationship. She loved sex as much as I did.

BTW, the shaven chick about whom I referred in my previous post is a certificated high school teacher. I think that maybe her students had influenced her...but maybe not.

Standing while receiving oral can have different purposes. Each man is different. It may be a porn inspired thing. It can be domination. Some men like to watch getting head and the standing position makes it very easy. It's really difficult to know without asking your boyfriend. If you don't outright want to tell him you don't like it, talk about oral sex. what he likes, how he likes it, what positions are his favorite, why, etc. You can also share with him what positions you like best for him to be in.

This is a huge generalization. Every woman is different and most women don't usually like to be generalized into a single category, especially by men. I can understand if this has been your experience and you are welcome to state that it's your opinion based on your experience. However, I personally find it offensive when women are lumped like this, as if we don't have any individual preferences. Domination is a huge fantasy for many women, but saying "chicks seem to prefer men's men who take charge in the bedroom" is not true. Women, have varied fantasies and preferences and some enjoy/desire the domination fantasy. However, that is a far cry from saying women in general prefer it.

Also, constantly referring to women as "chicks" can also be seen as offensive. I can't say this for every woman on this forum, but I personally do not want to keep reading about "chicks" especially on a women's forum.

          sp346,

I understand your opinion, which is just that as is most everything contributors post here.

You might want to Google: "women's sexual fantasies". I have yet to read one from any source in which women desiring domination is not included, which puts your opinion in the minority.

I'm good with your opinion. I'm good with my opinion.

I grew up near the beach. Since I was in high school girls were called chicks. Chicks call other chicks chicks. It is an endearing term, not pejorative. When dudes and chicks don't use that noun, it's almost always substituted for a pejorative noun. When a dude refers to a woman as a chick it's almost always in favorable terms as in, "That's a hot chick right over there."

It appears to me that you're trying to force me to accept your opinion, which is latent domination. You keep your opinion & I'll keep mine. The difference is I will never attempt to force you to accept my opinion.

Spend the day in the Greater LA area & I will guarantee you that you'll hear women called chicks, especially in beach cities.

I'm sure that, if you're consistent, you do not listen to the Dixie Chicks and rock songs containing that noun of which there are many including "Suffragette City".

As Bob Dylan sang, "...you'll go your way and I'll go mine."

            sp346,

Do you like Rihanna's song, "Who's that Chick"?

            Do you watch chick flicks?

I hope you've gotten my point.

Maybe it is a bit uneven to call men "men", but to call women "chicks".

BTW, I understand surfer talk and that is how some people talk with "chicks" and "dudes".

This thread seems to have taken a sudden turn in a strange direction. The original post was a woman who like giving head, but not with her boyfriend standing in front of her - something he enjoyed. I believe everyone would agree that some, but not all men and women have dominant or submissive fantasies. (the percentage doesn't matter - it is these particular people who do matter).

I think she needs to understand why he likes this. If it is a domination fantasy of his, and if she does not like being submissive then they need to talk because any changes she makes will be taking away exactly what is looking for. Of course it may just be a minor whim and he is willing to give this one thing up. OTOH, if domination is a major part of his sexuality, this issue is likely to come up frequently.

If he likes this for some other reason, maybe they can find a position that they both like.

They both need to be honest about what they really want so that they can figure out what works for both of them.

As far as language - I prefer "men" and "women" for referring to adults - anything else has a lot of baggage for some people.

That was taken nearly verbatim from a Website. I can find it again if you wish, or you can Google it.

Chicks refer to men as dudes.

We're assuming that we're referring to informal speech or colloquialisms. Posting in a public forum is much different than scholarly submissions.

Actually, not often but I do have friends who speak that way when we're discussing things informally. If I lived near the beach I'm sure I would hear it more often.
