In the early days of my marriage, I was a full time student and working, plus driving about 20 hrs week. Life was hectic. My hubby often took care of dinner, cleaned up and made sure my car was in good repair and so forth. The extra work and worry he took from me made me feel loved and supported and I couldn't wait to show him my appreciation, which was often in the form of sex. It made me love him so much more because his love and sensitivity to my needs was there.
When he was working 80 hrs week, then I tried to lessen his load at home by getting the grass cut and things that were typically his chores, so that he could have some down time to relax. We were a team and pulled together to keep things up.
I think men who step up and help out when needed are generally more sensitive to their partners need and tries to meet it. It's not just that the doing of more chores is such a hot thing to do
. Its the fact that they recognize a way to help out and do their best to do it. They care. And most of us women know that men's love language is often the physical, so we in turn, endeavor to meet their need as well by giving them a hot night of passionate appreciation
