    What are your limits/red lines

Reading other people's posts makes me wonder, what would be your limit? How open minded are you? What would you consider to be an absolute deal breaker. What if your lifelong monogamous partner suddenly said they were bi and needed to be sexual with both genders? What if you found out they were cross dressing? What if they told you they were trapped in the wrong body and wanted to have a sex change operation? At what point would you say, "that's it. Not doing it!"

It's a difficult question to answer because we are dealing in theoretics. For me, anything illegal (drug, minor, etc) would be a very definite line.

Transgender may be difficult to accept. OK as a friend but not sure I could deal as a lover.

Partial cross-dressing would be fine. But full time would probably be a deal breaker.

Well my G/F and I are both Bi, so that's fine, I guess I draw the line at any kind of abuse, or excessive pain, anything else that has to do with sex between to the two of is fine.

I have a hard time imagining any of this stuff with my wife, but anything involving a third party would be a deal-breaker.

Are there female cross-dressers? I guess there are, but it doesn't seem to be as big a deal because men's clothes are closer to unisex? I don't know what I'd do. My wife has always been sort of tomboyish and has always had less feminine clothes in her wardrobe. I guess it would depend on the extent.

      I wouldn't tolerate a sex change.

Legalities are not a huge issue for me. I would definitely stay to work through addiction, depending on behavior.

I'm with Still -- any third party permanently invading the bedroom is a deal breaker. Sex change would be a deal breaker on a sexual level but we would still remain friends (I think) . . . I mean she has a few make believe pe**ises which are more than fine with me. Other than that, Im not sure that there is a deal killer sexually (assuming we could compromise even a bit). Maybe a need for electrical or medical play toys might be a bit unnerving, but if safe, I might try.

A "mistake" affair would not be a deal breaker but an emotional affair might be if we could not (or she did not want to) fix the holes in the relationship that caused it.

I'm not one for illegal drugs, but if a few hits on a joint would make the SO more aroused, count me in. She had a drug problem 20 years ago, so anything harder than marijuana would be a deal killer if we could not control it through rehab (or she wouldn't go). Marijuana was not a gateway drug for her. Alcoholism would also be a deal killer if we failed enough times in rehab.

Real deal killers for me are relationship ones. If we had significant relationship issues and she refused to go to therapy or to work on them at all, we might have an issue but that is very far fetched.

An affair would surprise me, but wouldn't bother me much. As I've mentioned, my wife is welcome to sleep with other women absolutely no negative reaction on my part.

Intentionally harming another (innocent) person would be a red line.

Treating me with a lack of respect could be a red line. I'm not talking about a joke gone wrong or an occasional angry comment, but I couldn't tolerate a general opinion that I was worthless.

As far as sexual things, if my wife really wanted something that I was unwilling to do in bed, I would be OK with her finding that elsewhere. It would only become a problem if it became the focus of all of her sexual interest, or if she started ignoring me.

I would not stay in a romantic relationship if she wanted to change genders. I wouldn't blame her, but I'm not sexually attracted to men at all.

Life is long, and people make mistakes. I'm willing to forgive almost anything that is a one time mistake.

My personal red lines would fall into two categories - sensibilities and ethics.

On ethics, it would be anything having to do with children, animals, or any living thing that's unable to make a volitional decision of consent. (Probably all pretty obvious.) Legality would be considered within reason ....in some states it's still illegal to have anal sex for example, but in more practical terms, hard drug use would be a killer for me. Likewise genuine violence. Certainly no rape.

On sensibilities, I couldn't be with a man who was sexually attracted to other men in a significant way or who exhibited feminine tendencies or characteristics that were significantly 'deviant' (crossdressers, etc.). I like pushing the boundaries of gender-bending and role reversal but not really crossing them wholesale. (The former is essentially a game, while the latter is reality.) I like teasing about being more of a man than a man for example, or about a guy taking on a feminine role (this is moreso challenging stereotypes than crossing over), but I don't want a guy to actually be a woman or vice-versa.

            Otherwise I'm pretty open-minded.

My draw the line meaning no way at all is minors or animals period or anything dealing with pooping or really deep pain drawing blood and of course hard drugs and last but not least for me personally gay sex.

Limits some spanking and some peeing (water games) a little bondage enjoy watching wife enjoy her girls friends with sex toys.

Me and wife are very open minded to a point.

Pegging for me. If she said she only wanted to do it one time, or it was a bucket-list type thing, I'd give in. If she wanted pegging to be a normal part of our diet, I'd say it would be a deal breaker.
