I may agree with you there sp, but I'd say I'm not directly influenced by porn & just prefer a cleaner area. I have moods, sometimes I like it clean-shaven, but usually just trimmed up & shapely, like the rest of me I think it's like anything else - it's more attractive not to have the hair on our heads, or our eye brows flying all over the place, unruly & frizzy. Same with the pubes

I do shave my legs and pits. I am not a radical non-conformist. There are many things that I do follow the trend with.

Attractiveness is a matter of opinion. Hair does not have to be cut and styled to be attractive. It can be clean and combed. But sometimes that shaggy dog, unkempt hair look also is very attractive. And to me, natural has a very strong appear. To me, a woman who hasn't done too much to her appearance (no dyed hair, no waxed eyebrows, no makeup) who only look so so is much more beautiful that somebody who got the full work done and looks drop dead gorgeous. That artificially derived beauty to me looks fake.

Hey, not saying I don't follow some of those artificial beauty tips, but to me natural beauty is more appealing than the made up one.

And public hair has such a strong connection to sex which is such a primal instinct. To me it makes more sense for it to remain primal and unrefined.

I don't really agree with the porn point either, at least inasmuch as the women in my life are concerned. I don't know that many of us are basing our looks on porn actresses, or I haven't heard any of my girls claim that anyway and I'm certainly not. It seems to me much more just a matter of basic personal upkeep, just as you like your hair or clothes looking nice when you go out, etc..

That said, I'll admit there's a certain appeal to a beautiful woman taking an eff-you attitude toward the conventions ....surprisingly appealing.

I do agree with that sp, attractiveness is in the eye of the beholder, and what we feel good about in our own appearance also. As we've all discussed, it's confidence that shines through.

And, not to harp on it, but I think it's a cultural thing as well, and an issue of what the buzz is in our particular social groupings.

My SO prefers to be cleanly waxed, but it has no relationship to porn. She never watches it. It's about cleanliness to her. As for me, since I am a fan of cunilingus, I prefer trimmed so there are not too many loose hairs for me to gag on.

To be honest, I tried to convince my GF to let it go "out of control" but she wouldn't budge on the grooming. When I go hairless hubby wants me to my hand over it and pose like a woman in those Renaissance paintings like Rafael etc I find this odd and funny. Your GF is lucky with her legs. I don't have to shave them as well but I do have a little white hair.
