Just to offer another point of view to Ponysteel's experience, my guy is uncircumsized and with him, I have the strongest orgasms I've ever had. I don't put that down to his being uncircumsized, but I'm saying it to point out the circumsicion does not, in my case, inhibit orgasms. With the way he's built, though, I've not noticed the bunched up skin you describe.

What I have noticed is sometimes, most often when I'm on top, I can feel the skin slide up over the head. That was weird at first! But no big deal.

I think whoever said that they can't feel the head entering as much with a uncircumsized penis as with a circumsized penis may have something; I've noticed that with my guy, too. That, however...is not an endorsement in any way of circumcision, it's just a point of interest to me. That is not a factor that should be taken into consideration when debating circumcision.

i think i might have a unique perspective into this issue because i am an american and i come from culturally diverse family. i am circumsized but my brother is not. i have vivid memories of the trouble my brother had while taking baths as a little boy. i would be in and out of the tub but my mother had to help him clean it and he was terribly sensitive when she would pull the skin back to clean it. i can remember her stuggling to keep him still and him screaming bloody murder everytime. he made it nearly impossible for her to get it clean. she told the doctor what was going on and asked the doctor if he should be cut and the doctor about reamed her a new one. (he was probably sporting an ant eater as well..lol). so she tried her best but my brother is a fighter. after only being able to half wash it,time after time, he developed a cheesy look on the head under the foreskin.

as for me being circumsized...i have never had anything like that, no funky smell, and i am glad its not hyper-sensitive. i can smack it against a brick wall with no pain. sometimes my wife gets a little carried away and has stabbed my helmut with her finger nail and it has never stopped me.( but she is always afraid she just mutilated me)

back to my brother....today he has five kids and he has not circumsized any of them, even with that history. i have heard he is a little fast on the release but i dated a girl awhile back that prefered a couple quickies to a long tantra session, so its really up to the person and their personal preference.

i don't think it really makes a difference if you are or you are not. but i don't think there is a down side to being chopped. unless you doctors are butchers.

I took a Health Psych class in college with a female professor who was RABIDLY against circumcision. She made us read all sort of literature on the risks and benefits. I don't really remember a whole lot about it anymore but what I do remember is some of the stuff she made us read about the possibility of doctor error and the consequences. Think about... those are some really small part they are slicing off and one little slip of the knife... you get my drift. I also remember reading some studies that indicated that the decrease in cancer risk was negligible and that the hygiene angle was overrated. That being said, my husband and I were asked if we wanted it done with both of my pregnancies... we never did make a decision.

I am SOOOO glad that I have girls and not boys...

An odd chiming in, only because I was searching for this very topic because of some radio reporting I was just listening to.

I am circumcised, and of my girlfriends, only 4 had ever been with an UNcircumcised man in the past. The 4 of them expressed being very grateful that I WAS circumcised. No explanations why though---I didn't press it. It was related to oral sex though, but I didn't go into details....if I said any more it would just be me guessing.
