WaveRider, as much as I like Amy's advice, be certain that marriage won't change the dynamics of your relationship before taking the plunge.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

Love may be good for getting married, but it is not enough for the marriage to continue. And if the marriage has a chance to fail, see previous posts by WR about divorce here in CA.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Seriously? Their relationship is based on sex. As I've understood him previously, he has contemplated ending it. Doesn't sound like a good foundation for marriage to me.
I think he was being silly, sarcastic or smth with that comment. Have I been misunderstanding your other posts all this time WR?
WR, not intended to speak about you, as if you aren't in the room. .

Hi jns,
No, I ain't gonna tie any knot with her. We do get along, have a lot in common, and share the most incredible sex either of us has ever had. But she has a sense of entitlement and elitism that ****es me off. If she were to keep her mouth shut about how she believes people are inferior to her, we'd get along perfectly.

Hi atskitty2,
While a healthy part of our relationship is the most incredible sex imaginable, we do share other commonalities. I could sit on her couch and watch a movie with her without bending her over a couch, and believe me, she loves to be bent over.
Sexually, we're 100% compatible. In other areas, no so much. Her sense of entitlement and elitism are deal breakers.
We're doing dinner tonight. I'll know as soon as I see her if she wants to be banged like a screen door in a category 5 hurricane. When she wears revealing clothes, she's horny. When she's dressed conservatively, she'll likely get horny.Comment

Some women just don't like giving bj's.... doesn't necessarily mean she's had a bad experience in the past, just doesn't want to do it!
May not appeal to her, could be a hygiene issue etc etc...... not everyone is into oral sex.
Perhaps you could learn to 'last longer' during sex, if that's what she prefers.
The menopause may create issue's with libido but doesn't necessarily put you off performing a particular act.Comment

I think that's probably it - I just don't think she likes giving blow jobs.....Some women just don't like giving bj's.... doesn't necessarily mean she's had a bad experience in the past, just doesn't want to do it!

I would love to be able to 'last longer' during intercourse - I don't know how this is possible because my wife is very attractive and if she's really horny and wet down there my chances of lasting longer that 1-2 minutes is very remote! I'd love to be able to bang her like a porn star for 5-10 minutes before ejaculating, but I can't see that happening anytime soon.
