That actually makes things a bit more interesting.
Often when these conversations come up, people mention women who are "size queens." But that term originated in the homosexual community and refers to gay men that like big penises. They seem to actually have more of a preference for size than heterosexual women. Maybe bisexual women also tend to have similar preferences? I think I've seen studies that non-hetero people have a tendency toward sexual activity that's considered more extreme. Maybe whatever drives that also makes them lean to more concern over size.
The corresponding preference in men is tightness, but in all of the shop, locker-room, and man to man conversations I've been part of, it's just not that big of a deal. People mention it and talk about how they enjoy it, but it's a bottom-of-the-list trait. Incidentally, I had a coworker that preferred looser vaginas. He said they allowed him to maneuver like he wanted to. Off hand, he's the only man that I can think of that's ever expressed a serious preference.
I think it's really the same with most women. It may matter some, but it's not a big deal. But in Africa they practice dry sex to give the sensation of tightness and in Asia women have surgical procedures to increase it, so it's really important to some people. Either way, your preferences are what they are. How other people feel doesn't change that."Those sowing seed with tears

This conversation made me remember some discussion with a member, Lovcookie. He had an open relationship and threesomes with his girlfriend. One of the things he struggled with was his girlfriend's looseness, especially relative to the other women they spent time with. It contributed to temptation, guilt, and conflicted feelings.
Here are the links to a few of his posts discussing it. Kind of weird stuff, but interesting and relevant nonetheless - particularly because of the proximity of the comparisons with different women.
My Asian GF recently had a friend from out of town stay over. Something unexpected happened. On my GF friends last night we got into a three some. I thought my GF would never
My GF introduced me to a few threesomes. For the most part it was great. No real jealousy and clean exciting experiences. Well the first three went this way and the fourth
I was wondering if kegels make a big difference to a woman tightness. I have a harder time cumming with my GF compared to other women in the past or the women we have had

One thing i have discovered over the years, is that girls who use dildos more, are more likely to want a bigger penis, this is usually due to the dildo average being bigger than the penis average i find. Recommended toys online are 7-8" long. And this im sure links in with your bisexual female theory, as a lot of their play can be dildo based. x

at post office couple wks ago, it was packed, I was next in line
guy at counter had something to go in one of their pkgs n was looking at different sizes to see which to buy
then he said "guess size does matter" the p.o. worker made a little grin
and because of THIS thread, I started laughing
he turned around to see who was laughing!
he knew what he said but I was the ONLY one laughing
if I'd never read this thread, I wouldn't have been laughing either by putting another meaning to his wordsComment

Well, I’ll take it from a woman that in conversation with other women, penis size is always up for discussion. I find it surprising, but there it is. I do not think I have ever heard guys discussing vagina size, yet they do vary quite a bit and I do not think that any particular size can be described as optimal.
I have generally found guys to be too respecting of their SOs to say much to other guys about their girls, their parts, how they perform sexually. I have heard the odd guy shut down by others for offering “way too much information”. It is seen as unseemly.
The other thing I find surprising is the number of women (if posts on this forum are any indicator) who know detailed measurements of their partner’s penises. I measured my penis when I was about 12 years old. In discussion about anatomy with a girl of like age, I told her my penis was about 4.5 inches long. I can see look of mild disgust on her face and her it in her voice when she uttered: “You measured it?” - suggesting, whatever would possess you to do such a thing? And why are the women not posting their vagina dimensions? Not fair!
The “liar” theme has come up before. In another thread on the same topic this was posted:
I would say that those women were rather child-like in their mentality. How could they possibly purport to speak for all the billions of women on the planet? What froth.
When I showed that post to my wife, she said a few things I won’t repeat here. But she resented being called a liar. She’s a petite Asian woman, under 5 feet tall and about 90 lb. She is just generally small. I can reach her cervix with my little finger. She told me the guy she was with before me had a larger penis. I felt dismayed by that revelation for all of about a minute, feeling much better when she went on to say that sex with him was never good, she never had an orgasm with him through intercourse, and she always felt over-stretched and her cervix made sore. She says she much prefers my more average size. A skilled liar, perhaps.
Another liar!!
Well amy40, those studies cannot be trusted, since endless posts on this board are from women claiming to be with guys who are 7 inches and much more; not to mention more girth than a magnum of champagne.having looked up stats and studies done by researchers using medical personnel for measurements (not self reported)
it seems the average is 5.1 or 5.4 depending on the study
asked my husband if he ever measured himself and he said no and then I thought why would we considering the average vagina is 4.75 or less (depending on what one reads)
I know occasionally he has hit my cervix (certain positions) and that hurts!
I could not resist digging up the post below from another penis size thread. It reveals the existence of not only size queens, but speed queens:
I love the formulae presented! I have never heretofore encountered such a fine analysis of penis inches per second. I never much thought of sex as a cycles per second type of thing. The closest I can recall dates back to about seventh grade when us naughty boys would offer up, as a principle of physics, something like: The angle of the dangle equals the mass of the *** and, if the heat of the meat is kept constant, the throb of the knob should do the job.as far as size vs speed goes, it is mostly about how much penis per second moves near enough a bigger and smaller penis thrusting at the same speed is different, the bigger guy with 1 in and out if hes 7" gets 14" of movement, where the 5" guy gets only 10" of movement in the same time frame,so thrust faster! i found with big penises, as much as they have to have skill and put in effort, it isn't close to the effort a small penis man has to put in, thats fact. Good rule of thumb, each girl is different, if you notice she isn't responding as well as you would like, up the pace a little. myself i like a 7-8" long one with moderate thickness going VERY fast, this is why smaller penises dont do it for me, they cant thrust fast enough to put it simply, im too used to the inside shaking pace with a bigger one, so the smaller one has far less buildup for me, no doubt given 20-30 mins i could achieve an orgasm with a 4-5" man but who can go that long?
Size speed skill stamina, if your lacking one, make up for it by bolstering the other 3.
But seriously, I trolled that post past my wife and she thought it was hilarious. She offered that the poster and her pals might enjoy “sewing machine sex”, but she finds it annoying, except in small bursts, intermixed with a more relaxed pace and varied techniques. She believes that the race is not always to the swift. Me too. One does not always have to strive to put the Energizer bunny to shame.
I find it odd to ask who can last 20-30 minutes. I would think a lot of guys can, if not pressed to perform start to finish at jackrabbit speed, which to me sounds distinctly unappealing. Before I was married, I had a live-in partner who loved long and slow. When we were first together, she recalled, rather wistfully, that her previous partner could go 2 hours if just thrusting slowly. She said that gave her the best orgasms. Well, not to be outdone (I never told her I did it), I timed one of our sessions: 2.5 hours. Not my preferred way of having intercourse every time, but decidedly enjoyable once in awhile. It endeared my greatly to her.myself i like a 7-8" long one with moderate thickness going VERY fast, this is why smaller penises dont do it for me, they cant thrust fast enough to put it simply, im too used to the inside shaking pace with a bigger one, so the smaller one has far less buildup for me, no doubt given 20-30 mins i could achieve an orgasm with a 4-5" man but who can go that long?
In closing, I’ll offer a couple of quotes from another pair of liars:
From Roxy on Topix, Human Sexuality Forum:
OK...I am ending the debate here and now. Size matters...to a POINT. But it goes both ways. Right now, I have a boyfriend who is very large, and I HATE IT. We are both very sexually frustrated. Sex HURTS. VERY, VERY badly. But I feel like I need to do it, or else he will go somewhere else. I DREAD having sex with him. And previously, I have LOVED sex. I really enjoy sex when a man has a 4-5 inch penis. Anything bigger than that, and it is so painful that it is HORRIBLE. The average vagina is only 4 inches long. So why the hell would you want a 9 inch penis? I think my boyfriend and I will have to break up eventually, because it just doesn't work. He gets frustrated because I always make him stop because it hurts so much. And then I feel guilty and have a low self esteem because I can't satisfy him. Trust me, if you have an average penis...you are lucky.’’
I don't really like intercourse or oral sex even though I get turned on...

Is something wrong with me? I'm 25 and up until recently, I'd only been with 1 guy before. I assumed the sex hurt since I was a virgin and he was a little bigger than average in both length and girth. So, I didn't think much of only enjoying the cuddling/kissing part of it. The second guy, though, was the same in terms of what I enjoyed. He was a little smaller than average, which was actually much more comfortable for me. It wasn't pushing up against my cervix, so it was actually nice and much better than the big one (don't know why people like big ones...).
We know the first one is a liar. She says she likes a 4-5-inch penis. We know from reading here that something that small is rare.
I have written this, not so much as to take the OP to task. I'll accept her posts as a genuine expression of what works for her. But many of these threads - including the recent "Is my penis too small to satisfy a girl" thread are started and read by insecure, inexperienced guys and they just might take some of the posts I have quoted as gospel and will go away disheartened. That would be wrong.
