If your talking MMF threesomes, far more common than a FFM threesome. In my walk of life I really don't think threesomes are that common. They do not interest me in the slightest - especially bringing another woman into the picture. Apparently there is an entire lifestyle called "hotwifing" where married women openly have sex with their husband's knowledge/consent. A lot of them end up having MFM threesomes with other guy being a regular partner rather than a stranger. Probably more common in certain locales than other ones.

I had only ever heard of swingers since thats so prevalent in pop culture these days. But thats where both husband and wife have other partners. Hotwifing is where only the wife does, but its not considered cheating. Its all under the umbrella of non-monogamy.
