And of course even the Bible makes it clear that marriage is much more than just a piece of paper, it is relations between a man and a woman, in every sense of the word.

I believe that marriage as an institution came from religion, predating most, if not all forms of government. As such, it is hard to strip the religious aspects and leave marriage that resembles its form in ancient times.

Lots of research proves that women who have sex a lot late in their lives liver longer, happier lives. I can't find research that indicates the same is true for men.

All women should have and enjoy a lot of sex well into their senior years.

I don't see any point in being married again. A commitment is enough, though I would marry if my partner felt strongly about it.

Oddly, my wife's attitude toward sex seems to have undergone a major change also, within the last year or so; maybe I should say, "is undergoing a change," since it seems to be still evolving. She frequently initiates things now, where a year or so ago she never ever did! She also seems to enjoy it more: she frequently has 2 or more orgasms, which hasn't been the case since about the first year we were married. We have gone from 2 or 3 times a year, to once a month, to, now, once a week! I'm tempted to ask her, "What's changed?" but I'm more tempted to knock on wood and cross my fingers... :-))

We don’t have sex any more, most likely because I don’t desire my wife and she doesn’t desire me. But I’ll be ****ed if I would ever have sex with her because she felt obligated, or somehow felt sorry for me. That would be worse honestly than hiring a two-bit *****.

Why would you remain in what has to be a miserable marriage?
