Well good question. My situation is a little different. My fiancee and I life together but he works away for four weeks at a time and then is home four weeks. I must say that this keeps the sex life alive when he is home because we are both starved of it and so take every opportunity we can.

We also have three children between us and this can be an obsticle but we just find special moments and go away just the two of us for weekends.

I sometimes wonder what it would be like if he was at home all the time. He is about ten years older than me and I would say although I am over thirty I am at my sexual peek. His desires match mine now but if we were together all the time, although I would love this, I think both of our hungers would probably diminish a little.

Communication is the key. We can talk about anything, there is no embarrassment and are able to talk of our and the others needs. Both of our aims seem to be to please the other and this really works for us.

We are getting married in a few months but I don't see that this will change things as we have been together for a number of years. If it does I will be posting a thread about it lol, as well as talking to him about it so fingers crossed.

Well let's say I'm (just) over 30 and although I probably could have sex with my husband every night, I'm always left unsatisfied, wanting more while he on the other hand is asleep as soon as he is satisfied, which is very quickly! So in that sense, no I do not get as much as I want and when I do the quality is not great either unfortunately

Hello there. To all you nice people that made comments specific to me - thanks.

The main cause of my ED problems are problems with my brain, not my body. I know this, I'm working on this with professional help, etc. The plumbing qorks fine - the problem is with the plumber. :-)

Re the anti=dep meds. I'm fully aware that they don't SOLVE problems. I have problems/issues I'm trying to deal with. The meds help me keep things balanced while I work on my issues. Again, the meds DON'T solve the problems. I have to solve the problems. They just help me along the way.

One of the funny things about the meds is the biggest problem they cause is they make it almost impossible for me to have an O. now, my lady never complains that I ejaculate too quickly :-). It's just frustrating for both of us.

I'm working hard to get off the meds. Again, thanks for helful comments.

And I'm just an natual cuddlers, either before or after sex.

(I still can't make those darn smilies to work!!!!)

              I can do this:

              ;-)
              :-(
              etc.
but can't actually get the graphic GIF file into the body of the response. Only attached to the title.

But hey, this is supposed to be about other things.

Seems like many of you women out there are not getting as much sex as you want. That was my guess. I think this is particularly of women "over 30" you have learned how much fun/pleaser/etc. nice sex can be. Plus I have been told by several women that when they have an O, it just invigorates them and they want more.

For us guys, it is just the opposite. When we have an O it wipes us out. Oh well, mother Nature does have a sense of humour. And a wicked one at that!

Yes, I've always been a cuddler. I thought at first it was very "un-mascline" of me so did not do it. Then, well, I learned the truth! I always thought you had to be "macho" (which I am not) to get a girls attention. I only learned late in life that that is NOT what most women (at least in my opinion) are looking for.

Sorry for using you all as a test bed.

Agree on your points OwlHunter but we don't like "feminine" men persay i don't think anyway as they can be woosy and make stup1d statements like "don't you love me" insecure. Secure, confident men with affection is what you are describing and if you find one send him over here to me

But um, make sure he doesn't look like friggen Bart Simpson will you, he has a beer gut and i don't like them... haha.

                      what is enough?

I suspect that men (guys out there, correct me if I am wrong) have a frequent need during a short time to have sex. e.g. maybe every day for 15 min, ones they climax, it's over.

Women have a less frequent need but for a longer lasting time to have sex. e.g. maybe once every week/two weeks but the desire remains there for 5 to 20 hours, and a climax just makes us want more and more.

I would think that both women AND men do net get enough. Men do net get it frequently enough, women do net get a long enough.

Girls and boys, what is your opinion on this?
