The thread's repetitive necroing, spam, inappropriate content, and the fact that it was 3rd on a google search for "pegging," (drawing, as Anon said, members whose ONLY aim were to talk about pegging, some who inserted it into EVERY other unrelated thread they posted in) caused me to make the decision to delete it.
The other thread should not be unlocked ... I'll take a look at that.
The site itself, such as the heading to the "Sex" forum, cannot be changed. I do not have the power to change it; such were the administrative settings I was given. Though the "Professional Posting" rules may be cumbersome, they were enacted because some people were posting very inappropriate content.
Frankly, Gyrator, the conversations about ED you have had have been the FIRST good content out of the whole pegging topic.
I'm sorry if you don't agree with my actions, but those are the actions I've taken. They won't be undone.

I find it most surprising that you consider the recent postings by Phoebee and myself to be the first good content on pegging. If you had read the early pages of the tread you deleted you would have found that I was about the first person to post informatively on the thread and over a number of posts I covered how pegging pertained to ED, enlarged prostate problems and even haemorrhoids! I also addressed the accusation of it being a gay activity when this came up. I must say that I felt the moderators failed to deal properly when these accusations repeatedly recurred.

I should also like to point out that the problems that occurred late on it that thread and in the later (now locked) thread did not originate from newcomers but from a long-established contributor here that seems to have a great objection to pegging but is unwilling to enter into any logical debate of these objections.

Clearly this is an issue where many people are now curious. I make no secret of the fact that I believe this is an area of sexual liberation that has all the validity of oral sex - something which we nearly all see in a positive light. I believe pegging will eventually be seen in the same light. I am more than ready to enter into reasoned debate with those who think differently. However, I am now slightly reluctant to expend the effort on this forum if the moderators will not distinguish between valuable, informative, reasoned posting on both sides of this debate and retain them and direct their deletion powers accurately on the unhelpful random shoutings of those who, in many cases, simply wish to close debate down.

Here are the facts. That thread is gone. Nobody will stop you making another one. Complaining is a waste of time.

And if you're talking about Caroline, she's a fool and has been banned finally anyway. And she didn't make sense, whatever topic she was discussing.
