We give advice to people REGARDLESS of their age, young or old. Your advice may be that he is too young to have sex. Back that assertion up and assert yourself respectfully, and I'll defend your right to say it. Some 13-year-olds on this site act more appropriately than people well into their middle age.

LOL....i see you know everything and have experienced it all.....sorry but 16 is way too young.....too young to buy cigarettes and to be on a message board getting sex advice from people that don't care for them...

When those who could be deemed as young ask for advice, they always get warnings about being safe, whether or not they are ready, etc.

Do you think young adults who post here feel like they could ask their parents or a teacher or something and get any serious sort of an answer? They're either on their own, or they have us. The collective advice of a cross section of society is better than the isolation which they'd otherwise endure.

Oh, you have a very valid point. A lot of our "culture" is moving on-line, and the current generation of young people has never known any different.

But it's an issue that's not going to get resolved in this thread, I can promise you that much.
