How big of turnoff is it if a guy is bald?

Would you not date a guy if he was bald but in good shape? Curious about this.

Aren't you a little premature worrying about this? I am head over heels for a man with quite a bald spot, it's not even a remote consideration. In my eyes there just isn't anyone who even comes close. He fussed a bit about his thinning hair when we first met, haven't heard about it for quite a while - he knows I adore him just as he is.
Hair is only a concern when other things are lacking.

haha, first thing I thought of as well.

I don't think "girls" even think about it to be honest, that being that a man one day "may" go bald, when they enter into a relationship.

But, give me Vin Diesel ANY DAY, and I'll be scared but excited, there's something kind of sexy about it to me, as long as they carry it well.

When I was single, I had an image of what my perfect guy would look like physically. Tall, dark thick hair, a certain age, etc, etc.

And then I met my current boyfriend, who is essentially the opposite of everything I was (physically) looking for, but nevertheless he ended up captivating me from day one, and I ended up finding his qualities the most attractive. And he's definitely balding! But reminds me of Jude Law sometimes, and Jude Law is HOT.

One of my acquaintances is also balding and he's a BIG hit with the ladies.

It all depends on how you carry yourself. If you have confidence, no one will notice what you consider to be your "flaws." This goes for men and women both!

Hummm, maybe the hair for some men is kind of like the boob thing is for many women - it's a far bigger deal to them than to others. The LOML was wearing a hat and sunglasses when we met, the attraction was intense and immediate and it wasn't his "looks" it was his presence that counted.

I think there's some truth to that! And not with just those two things, but with many "flaws," often times only that person notices them.

It might be a little tough now because many other guys at that age don't have any noticeable hair loss, but honestly, this is not something anyone else will notice unless YOU make a big deal out of it.

It's normal. And pretty much expected.

Now, try being a WOMAN with hair loss. That's still pretty much socially unacceptable and can be extremely hard to deal with. I experienced this during college due to birth control pills, and while the problem is completely resolved now, it's put things into perspective for me.
