It's true that if this is over... I'll try to move on and find someone else. I mean, that's just reality.

I don't know what to do. He blocked my number. I did go overboard and call him over 20 times, text him 18, left two voicemails...

I just don't get it after the wonderful, loving weekend we had? He said he wouldn't do this to me again...
He even changed his Netflix password which before he said he didn't care if I used whether I was girlfriend or ex-girlfriend...

I think he's ****ed off, mad as hell, because this up and down AGAIN indicated to me that he's down sliding again into his depression and he's unstable. I know he intended to tell his parents' about his depression this weekend, but I worried that he wouldn't tell them or wouldn't tell them the extent. So, I sent his Mom a text early this morning to tell her, and later that day my number was blocked. He's raging mad. I think it's just straight up over. He's not in the right frame of mind to be in a relationship, and he's been trying to tell me that the whole time. Do I still try to confront him when he gets home on Monday? Is there even the littlest bit of hope left? Or should I just take him at his word - it's over, done.

        40 Messages?

You then texted his Mother and told her about her child?

Why do you feel you made that many calls, and text messages?

If someone did that to you tell me how you would feel, think, react...

I know. I'm psycho. No wonder he blocked me...
So yeah, it's probably over for real. I need to just move on.
I've been sobbing and overwhelmed all day with self-hatred.
I don't get why we had a wonderful weekend, and then the moment that doubt sets in, especially about school, it's completely over for him. I mean, I might've had a shot still, but the calling, texting, telling his Mom... all of that killed it. I'm positive. If I continue this, it's going to cause legal consequences. I'm compromising my own self respect. I wouldn't be this insane about it if he hadn't given me hope, and told me he loved me. If he hadn't been fine just hours before, leaving me a sweet message... I don't know what to do from here on out. How do I move on? Do I go to see him at his apartment when he gets back, and try to talk to him? Or do I just drop it all for weeks, see about getting my stuff later?

This love thing, is so important to everyone in this world.

I'm not going to lecture but sometimes, you go physco to avoid losing it, yet don't realise you have it until it's too late.

I definately would make the decision to go whoa and block myself.. You need to look into this for your own self for future... That's a tad out of control and maybe you need to discuss this with someone...

            I'm concerned that's all.

Arrange for someone else to collect it put a note in an envelope about your actions not a lengthy letter, just a note simply apologising for those actions...

Let him ponder but honestly I think you've lost it all now and you can't go down that same path again with anyone or you will lose again..

Love yourself... It will all come to you.

I just don't understand - everything was perfectly fine until he called and said that. I don't know what got him to that point or why he would be like that. He put me on an emotional roller coaster for two months, and then up and - it's over, that's that - and I don't understand why. I didn't do anything wrong. Everything was perfectly fine for the whole week after our reconciliation. I love yous and all... and then the last two days he fell into a depression again before going to his parents. I just don't get why he would treat me like that. How can he expect me NOT to flip out? I understand that I messed up by calling him so many times, but who wouldn't in such a confusing situation? I mean, I was giving him plenty of space... I was waiting for him to make the first move by texting or w/e, and then he flips out the moment his parents disagree with us being together? I just feel so lost and overwhelmed. I consulted my father, and he said that he thinks that I should've believed him all those times when he said that he wasn't capable of dealing with a relationship... if he truly loved me, I wouldn't have to "earn" back his love, and nothing would stand in his way of being with me - depression, parents, whatever. I just don't get it. I feel like in retrospect I should've just been like - "Okay, let's talk about this when you get back." But instead I was like... How could you do this to me AGAIN? I couldn't help screaming profanities, because I was just like... WHY, WHY are you doing this to me when you promised not to?! I thought you said you loved me, so WHY? I feel like I should give it a month or something, and see if maybe then I can go to collect my stuff, get closure, test his feelings... but I have no idea. I feel like I need to wait for him to mention me collecting my stuff. My family thinks it's over, over... others say to give it some time, he was just scared, he was just doubtful, he's still depressed, give him some space... maybe he'll regret yo-yoing me around again, but... I think, like you, it's probably over. For good. Blocking my number, changing his accounts, those are serious steps that say he wants to stick to his decision this time. I... I just don't know how to move on, especially after last weekend. I don't get it at all...

If you look at the entire relationship and our discussions perhaps, you both, are toxic for each other.

You pushed him away remember? Treated him wrong.

Then he came back and you opened your arms and then he again, went away.

For sure, someone is getting into his ear. But, negativity is not good for anyone, for instance, if someone is depressed you work with them, try to make them positive, you don't put them down to his parents That's self gain... in their eyes and I suspect it is them who have told him to block you, he has told them the roller-coaster HE has been put on by you and they don't want him to go further into depression.

A woman can destroy a weaker person, from her bite.

Calling/texting over 40 times swearing, yelling... Toxic.

Don't worry about why he changed, worry about where you BOTH went wrong to turn this into such a huge scary physco (your words) situation. Because that's what is important at the moment.

If he has blocked you, don't attend in a month and try again... He is asking that you leave him alone, it is his space now, his choice. Don't invade it.

Send someone to collect your stuff and concentrate on where you BOTH made mistakes to turn this into what it is now.

You have to also accept responsibility of your own actions that also assisted in creating him going into himself and not giving, thereby creating depression whether he had it or not before you, you added to it yes? You've admitted that.

Now you are looking soley on his actions. You must look at 'both'....

There is a future for everyone, you will be meeting someone else and you don't want to go down this path again, it's not healthy for you either.

Again, you must let go of the past, you know family. And, strengthen from it, love yourself because you are really in my opinion WANTING only one major thing, and it's called...LOVE.

I don't think I was trying to put him down to his parents... Rather, I was hoping they'd see the seriousness of the situation, and help him get the help he really needed. I think some of that help was pushing him away from me. Unfortunately, I think they're right. I cried a bit today, but I'm starting to get over it... I think, as mean as it seems, my boy-... Ugh, my ex-boyfriend is trying to do the right thing. He still loves me, so if he talks to me then he won't be able to keep to his decision. He's cutting off contact for the benefit of both of us, so that we can try to get past this. I talked to his Mom (she texted me), and she said that he was doing okay... and that if I really loved him then I would leave him alone, since he needs to focus on himself. He's been telling me that the whole time, and I just didn't understand. I'm hurt that he yo-yoed me around for two months, giving me hope, but ultimately I think he's just too unwell to deal with it whether he wants to be with me or not. He's not healthy enough to be in a relationship. My Dad is going to get the rest of my stuff from his apartment next week. I'm thinking of writing a small note - apologizing for my behavior, explaining why I acted that way, wishing him well, and hoping that in the future that we might be able to establish a friendship of sorts. I have to admit that I'm hoping that six months to a year apart will be enough to try to rekindle things, but realistically... I don't know. I don't think he's the kind of person who would ever want to take me back, but I'm also his first love... we experienced a lot together. I'm trying not to hope for it. I need to work on myself. I have been someone's serious girlfriend non-stop for almost six years. I think once I gain some independence of my own... maybe we can revisit this issue, but I have a feeling that I'm going to have to wait for him to reach out to me. I don't think he's the kind of person to do that though. He'd feel too guilty or not want to reel me back in after all this chaos. He's too considerate to potentially hurt my feelings again. My heart hurts thinking about this... If he loves me, he'll come back once he's healthy again... Maybe the time apart will give him the ammunition he needs to realize that he truly does miss me, love me, and the truth of last weekend can be realized at a better time... but I don't think know. I don't think so. I just feel humiliated and embarrassed by my behavior. I never wanted to become that psycho ex-girlfriend who you have to block from your phone, because she won't stop harassing you. I just... I don't even know anymore.

I don't get his behavior at all either. On top of blocking my number, he suddenly reactivated his Facebook account (I'm no longer a friend, of course), is planning to attend events on Meetup.com, and is seemingly doing perfectly wonderful! I feel so upset. Why isn't he mourning like I am? He seemed to be ready to move on in the course of a few hours. I want to throw up. I'm so upset.
