My advice on how to attract men:::::Be Yourself....be who and what you will be if you meld together....Just be natural....[/size]

As we both have pointed out being labeled as old and or fat has nothing to do with it - age is just a number and fat is a relative term. It's all in how you take care of yourself. I see young people (younger than me) all the time who look a lot older than they are.

All the time I get guys who argue with me about my age, even had to pull out my license one time to prove it and he still didn't believe me. As a matter of fact 2 1/2 years ago when I went with my oldest son to pick out his tuxedo for his wedding, I was standing right beside him and the gentleman helping him asked if I was the bride.

In reply to an earlier remark made in the thread about women always saying they deserved a good looking man -

Sure, who doesn't want a good looking man but in the whole scheme of things all we women (or most of us anyway) are not that shallow. We would much rather have an average looking guy that loves us and treats us well. Just because someone is good looking on the outside doesn't mean that they are not ugly on the inside. I myself have been turned off many a time by good looking guys who have the worst attitude, just makes them ugly on the outside to me.
There is a method to my madness ........ I just haven't found it yet.

I think we drink from the fountain of youth and as a result, we are forever young..... That was a bit too profound for this time of the morning?

But i agree, each "good looking" man i have ever ever known, i have certainly been friends with but "shallow?", cheaters, thing they're great and aren't, totally agree. They usually seek a woman who is prepared to spend her whole pay cheque and look like Paris Hilton ( dress sense makeup/hair/bags ) not be her...

It's funny though when you look at a guy that is "average" attractive in his way, when you fall, well he's **** good looking all of a sudden...

        My Opinion

I didn't get to read this whole entire thread but I did read a lot of parts including the whole first page.

How I met my boyfriend is very different on how other women or men meet their boyfriend or girlfriends. I've had three boyfriends. They have all ended up being jerks. They have all done their share of wrong things. Such as, treated me with disrespect, cheated or have been selfish. I'm not perfect. I've made mistakes in relationships but these men (I wouldn't even call them men) have treated me so poorly that I had to break up with all of them. After my third boyfriend I thought that was it (but then the unexpected happened). My first x-boyfriend cheated on me when I was in the hospital. When I got out of the hospital he told me that he was seeing another girl. My second x-boyfriend would mentally and physially abuse me. I broke up with him after 5 months. (I even had to call security on him in school) and last but not least my 3rd x-boyfriend would tell me that he didn't have any money which was understandable b/c he was starting college but a week later I found $100 in his wallet, two days later I asked him if we could go see a movie but he said he had no money. But then I mentioned the $100, he said that he took his mom out to breakfast (yaa right he can right "slow" on my head and then I will believe him) and that wasn't the fist time it was maybe the 10th time he did that. Anyway when I broke up with my second x-boyfriend he started following me in school so I had to call security on him. When this happened I was crying in the hallway b/c I was afraid of him. I was sitting in the hallway and this guy came up to me and asked what was wrong and I explained to him everything that happened and he told me not to worry or cry b/c he said "your a beautiful girl and any guy would love to date you". So then I went through my third relationship and that ended but then that guy came up to me again when I was by locker and he said "you are even more beautiful then the last time I saw you which was if I remember correctly a year and a half ago". I almost passed out (I even remember his exact words, which is pretty sad). We started to talk more, I got to know him really well so we started off friends but then a month and a half ago he asked me to be his girlfriend. (I wrote about this in one other thread also).

The point of this story (sorry if I bored who ever is reading this) is that if a guy really likes you he will be able to remember you. I think that guys are really attracked to physical appearance. The one thing my boyfriend said he couldn't stop thinking about was my smile, eyes and body.(he always sweet talks)But anyway, I'm always working out in the gym (I have to b/c I'm a personal trainer) I take care of myself really well and coming from my boyfriend thats one of the things he loves about me "that I 'm healthy". He is also a personal trainer and keeps good care of himself also and I have to say that I'm very attracked to that. I mean he has a good body and he's very clean cut but he's also intelligent. In my opinion women like a good looking guy but he has to be smart. I would think that guys also like intelligence in a women. Who wants to date someone who is slow? Personality is also a factor. I like someone who isn't boring and won't put me to sleep during dinner (that has happened before). I like a guy who makes me laugh and who will treat me and my body with respect and who can bring on a good coversation. So I think that a lot of people will agree with me that keeping yourself healthy and clean, intelligence, and personality are three important things to look for in a person. I believe that looks aren't everything but they do have an effect. I think that if a person wants to eat then who cares let them eat (that might be what makes them happy).. If they complain about being overwieght then give them the best advice you can give them or do something about it. For example, take walks with them or work out together. Me and my boyfriend personal train each other and it's lots of fun. He has a lot of muscle and I'm just toned. I'm strong. I'm not skkinny and I'm not overwieght. But hey.. it makes me happy.

I think I also read something about different men (nationalities) such as, black, hispanic or white men checking women out. My opinion on this is that men today they do have their certain types of bodies that they like. Such as black men might like curvey women and white men might like skinney women. Some men think the other way around. Such as, my boyfriend. We have very different nationalities and were both toned so I don't think any of that matters that much. lol

I remember your story on another thread and recall saying how romantic.

I agree 100% on personality and intelligence as a factor where "dating" is concerened....

I vividly recall mine saying " you may be good looking but i know what i am looking for" and i also recall his introduction, pertaining to strong women, intelligent women.

And, that got me 10 fold, the bit about "you may be but i know what i'm looking for"...

Why would i want a guy that just looks at my body and face and say phwaaaahhh that's mating not dating...

I wont him to like my personality, sense of humor, intelligence because with all of those, we can laugh, talk, communicate on different levels and then of course there's passion.... which closes the whole deal in my book, all of the above.....................

Everything you said is completely agreeable. I don't think it has to do with just looks "I want the full package" lol . That's why I'm head over heels for my bf. He knows how to start a conversation and for him to remember me after a year in a half that's pretty amazing (i mean I don't get that every day)! We do have are differences but we always find a way to work them out. Passion is one of the greatest things. When there is passion in a relationship then there is love. Being able to show and share passion with some one is an unbelievable feeling.

You bought back another rememberence, good on ya! I remember he was being cheeky one day, telling me about women over there who were on their own, he was on his own, suspect he was testing my "jealousy" that day. But i answered with "save the best till last" to which he replied so your the best, why are you the best, and my answer was simple, " because they will only want sex and i will want it all"... He couldn't argue with that.

But yes, i have never experienced Passion (44) until now, it is the most intense feeling and i own it like it's the only thing that exsists until i have to think logically... I don't think that it is even possible to explain that totality of ones self, it is just there, you live and breathe it it is spectacular....

Ah, i am counting those days ..........

It's as if you can't explain it (passion) in ordwer to know what it is you have to feel it. A person can really feel it when they kiss a person they love. It's an insane feeling. As mushy gushy as this may sound when ever I kiss my boyfriend it's like nothing else matters. It's a great feeeling. (and it can be just a simple kiss).

I read today here, which gave me goose pimples, where a passionate kiss was shared, which had not been shared for a long time yet yearned for and his toes curled.

I think the best foreplay to be honest is kissing, there is just something there, that takes me to heights inside, when in love.

So, i understand the "kiss" it seems to be "the connection" which then flows from there..

I know exactly what you are talking about. Me, it can be just as simple as a touch with my fellow. I get this feeling that can only be explained as kind of a warm sensation wherever he touches me. I can lay my head on his shoulder and I get this overwhelming peaceful feeling.

It's a crazy feeling! I love when I'm with him and I feel protected. It's a great feeling. I love when he does the little stuff. Such as, sit next to me for almost the whole day when I got sick and was in bed (so he got a folding chair and sat next to the bed).
