Just don't move to Texas, nothing wrong with Texas mind you, it's the mosquitoes that will carry you off! We lived in Beaumont for several months, the heat was ungodly! I've heard the East Coast is nice in the Carolina's. Been throught there in a truck, all at night- avoiding the USDOT and hwy patrolmen. Trying not to get caught or draw attention to my truck was nearly impossible. I miss old Misty Blue, see, she went from a white, to blue to sea foam green on the back, a 1982 Kenworth Conventional with the largest sleeper of the day. Had a fridge, stand-up shower and portable toilet too. I miss those days on the road, but I'd miss my family more. Some may remember the 3406B Cat engine with a Fuller 13 speed trans. She would walk anywhere with her head high and smoke rolling out of those 2 pipes. Yep, I miss her- like to have her back for parades if nothing else. Chromed out and had lights like Vegas at night.

Spent the day with my wife...
At the shooting club we belong. She is going on Saturday to go through the Concealed Carry class. She is doing very well, although she did ask me to put my arms around her to show her how to properly grip the pistol. That is a whole other story we shall not get into, other than it was an adventure- nuff said--
I think she will be ready for the shooting part just fine, God knows I don't want that Lady shooting at me! She is a very good shot and properly handled the weapon as I have taught her. I also used to teach firearms safety at an exclusive shooting club north of where we now live.
Had a wonderful day with my Sweetie!

I'm enjoying this journey with her. It's quite surprising how many times she got me to touch her while I just thought she needed help. She sure is a tricky one... but I love it!!! Nothing like getting a second chance to be with the one you truly love, it just makes it that much better. I hope and pray that this progress continues, because really... she's the only woman I have ever truly loved. That makes it a relationship worth saving, doesn't it?Comment

She passed the test with a 95%!!! I AM SO PROUD of HER!!!! I think it's great when a female takes charge of her own safety and doesn't depend on anyone to "rescue" her. Just like the "sidneyalive" character- you just never know who is out there. I worry about every woman who is out there, it's just in my nature I guess. It's good to be pro active and not be of a victim mindset. With my wife's skills with firearms, I sure do feel sorry for anyone who tries to commit a felony around her- they don't stand a chance!Comment

Focus on the the good progress you have made. not on what hasn't happened yet. It takes time. Don't undo all that you have accomplished by getting impatient.Originally posted by MarkTA welder, a Dad, a husband trying to understand and a gunsmith. Have one pistol I'm having troubles with, a cheap little pain in the tail semi-auto.
Understanding husband part- She won't take off work to spend a day with me. The State of Missouri will somehow collapse if she isn't there early and work late or take a day off to be with her husband.Comment

WC, I'm really not trying to and I'm still doing the dishes and things. She can see that I'm putting my heart and soul into this. All of the wishy washy is driving me crazy!
I have informed her that I'm opening a checking account in my name only, not to hide anything and not to hurt our relationship. I'm coming into a rather large chunk of money and I will be paying off a lot of debt that's driving her crazy trying to pay each month. I'm trying my best to help take off as much stress as I possibly can. With that said, If she decides to kick me out, at least I'll have some money to fall back on and won't have to live out of my truck. I'm going to set it up so that it is transferrable upon death to her and my son. I've talked it over with her and things have kind of been a little stressed between us, just not as bad as before. I just think it's only right that I am able to have enough to live on for awhile. She will get half of it anyway, so I don't see a problem and it's not like I'm going behind her back. You at least have to give me credit for that. If she does want a divorce, I'm willing to give her half of it and our joint account is all her's because she works and puts her paycheck into it. I haven't had a paycheck in 3 years that amounted to anything.Comment

The most common cause of stress.
Finances.
Mark, why not do some courses on line, find something that you have a passion with and that you CAN do, you know that I believe whilst IBS is a horrid thing to have, you can work at it with diet, to live a normal life...
But, I'm betting if she wasn't struggling so much (3 years is a long time), paying for everything, she wouldn't be resentful, stressed and it is those two words perhaps, that is and has caused her to not see you sexually...
What do you have to lose? Your work is beautiful but it doesn't bring in income...
If you bought in income you would be "equal" and being "equal" takes away alot of stress, and resentmentPUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment
