I don't "feel" one way or the other. Its not a generalization. Its more a pattern/ conjecture. There are much proof such as studies and statistics but I'm not sure if you would want to understand it. I never said I am absolutely correct. Take it or leave it but no need to take it personally. Or preferably you can do your own research instead of attacking me personally. -
You talk about proof. Can you please state what journal such studies have been published in. I would be interested in reading it.I don't "feel" one way or the other. Its not a generalization. You keep making broad sweeping generalization that spit in the face of the men and women that I know. You want to talk research? Maybe you should present some that supports your claims, instead of just saying "well, I think... so that's how it is and if a man claims differently he's lying." I would, however, prefer if you didn't make such insulting claims about people based on your personal opinion.I don't "feel" one way or the other. Its not a generalization. You make it sounds as if we're ignoring you or contradicting you for no reason. You've only succeeded in explaining your opinion of how the world "is" and expected us to all swallow it as The Truth. Why would anyone be petrified to comment on a thread where the majority are pushing for people to not feel shame in being true to who they are?*stillness: Thanks for commenting. I am wondering how many others guys are watching but is unable/petrified to comment
But I don't blame them. I've tried as best as I can to explain... But most here has made up their mind. But still I hope this thread is of some use to someone.Comment

Sorry Evolve, you can't empower me. I take power as my own when and if appropriate to do so. That is what empowers women. The ability to think for themselves, make logical assumptions, make logical conclusions and action accordingly with what we know, what we have and what we can do for ourselves. Please don't try to put yourself one rung up the ladder and try to "teach" us about romance or generalizing about "what most men (or women) want, like or find ideal". IMO what most men and women look for in a partner is someone to love them unconditionally. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to fill out an applicated and tick of the all the boxes but one (previous experience). That seems a little callous. By your standards you are saying that the couple should meet, fall in love, get married, have sex. What happens if you meet, fall in love, find out she's not a virgin? Do you walk away? Would you walk away? That which we forget may as well never really happened.Comment

This is a generalization, you did not even want to hear out another male's opinion on the matter until you were barraged with the fact that you should allow BB to answer. You believe it, you want to follow it, you are "sending the message" like it is some gift your words: "Empowering woman with knowledge of man in general", you believe that what you hide behind in carefully selected "facts" is truth and nothing but, you think you are the grand one standing up for all men...your words "im just trying to give a picture of the basic male mindset" so you believe you are making a generalized statement for all men since this is so "basic", your words: "I am wondering how many others guys are watching but is unable/petrified to comment". You truly believe you are sending a great message and that other men are scared to say anything, that there is a grandiose sense of self. Your words "The weak and follow my friends and men and trend is this advice is for....Get smart is the message" women who sleep with other men are weak so they need to "get the message".I don't "feel" one way or the other. Its not a generalization. Its more a pattern/ conjecture. There are much proof such as studies and statistics but I'm not sure if you would want to understand it. Carefully selecting your studies to support your claims is called a bias, a bias does not represent the whole. I am not sure you have read any of your actual studies you claims to get your proof from because in all studies they use words like "could", "may", "further research is needed". This means you would not be able to use is as irrefutable proof, which you seem to believe they are, due to the studies own words saying they do not have all the answers only a hypothesis. If you want to represent the whole be open to more than what you have purposefully selected. Read the studies that show a difference of opinion, read the studies that show opposites. And I do believe you are finding this conversation appealing because you do believe your opinion is correct and that others should follow. Look at your berating to others for disagreeing saying they would not understand, take it or leave it, saying "most here has made up their mind. But still I hope this thread is of some use to someone" as though they have made the wrong decision and hopefully they reread and change their mind to the correct one. Earlier you would say your observations were just observations and later you turned it to "I hope this thread is of some use to someone" meaning you still believe your personal observations are nothing but fact and women need to accept it. That is not how things to in the real world, if you observe something then great you have observed. Personal anecdotes mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, they are not a representation of the whole, if one believes that it is the whole then it is classified as a generalization. You want real data get several million people to fill out your non-biased questionaire to get a general sense of the whole. So which is it, are all of your comments just an observation and you could be wrong as you said in your own words or is it that you believe what you say is the truth and women need to accept the message and "get smart"? Remember your own words "My opinions are my own and may not be true".There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

I never said anyone to be a virgin. Its almost... impossible at this time and age. But choosy and don't let "try the goods" for years would be more appropriate. I never wanted to be so specific, but... anyways.Sorry Evolve, you can't empower me. I take power as my own when and if appropriate to do so. That is what empowers women. Your the second that said ability to think. I think smallpip said the same thing. I agree wholeheartedly. That's the only reason for me writing this, to make some of you to think not in the consensus now. You see man and woman are different. Man rarely get attached, especially after 1-3 years(max baby rearing time). Highest rate of splitting up is 3 years in a relationship as boyfriend became "distant". We are ideological being, we go to war for idealogy.. and we stay faithful and good to our wive for those... I can go on to explain about oxytocin and sex and why woman became attach after sex.. but I'm no expert, never claim to be. you guys can DYO research. To answer your question I wouldn't walk away unless her past changes her so much that she treats sex and relationship as something casual.Comment

All I have to say is that I am not turning into a metrosexual, as far as I am aware LOL. And unless a woman has serious psychological issues from which promiscuity has manifested, I've got better things to concern myself with than her sexual past - like participating in her sexual present."The greatest enemy will hide in the last place you will ever look" Julius CaesarComment
