Enculturation. The idea that men lead, women follow, is still strong in our society. Even if the idea of equal value is gaining momentum, there are plenty of men and even women that consciously or subconsciously believe that women are lesser beings. Why would men change that attitude if they believe that having the 'right' to control women is beneficial to them? And how easily can women change their mindset if they've been taught from birth on that their duty in life is to become obedient wives?

He thought even our beloved CW was money grubbing and soul sucking? Surely raging insanity on his part must have been a factor for him to reach that conclusion.

Must be Should have seen him on holidays that "I" payed for, not that I cared, but then he would like take $200 out of the ATM, and that's it, once gone, lol, whilst I continued to then also pay for the dinners and excitement...

I think he had a "few" issues personally.

        Lessons learn't.

Commitment ceremony for me, 2 houses, dating every single week, at least 4 times, being best friends, lovers and laugh until we fall over, oh and have sex until we can't..

That's my next plan of action....haha.

No that's what he thinks it is in our "business" mortgage, only I pay that too? hahahaha.

Hijacking thread, no I'm not Cat, it all fits in.

Yes, that is what you call a partnership, I sincerely think very few understand that and after posting over 10,000 posts in 2 years, I am convinced even more so, from what I read.

So women really want the kind of men that are ready to be respectful 'partners' in every sense of the word..

Your mean't to be sleeping it's 2am or longer

I think what we want, is difficult.. It's "understanding a woman" and sharing, as two souls, bought together as one, in every facet.

I don't believe alot of men are bought up that way, nor can communicate their inner thoughts/feelings.

I also think and I have said this to WC, it may be our age group, not persay, the norm, but men seem to hold those grudges longer, the pain.. We seem to get over what hurt us and "believe" and therefore, get out there again and try.

Perhaps we are fools? I think not, I think that we were "built differently, wired differently, we were born to bread and as such, forgive.. After all the little critters we bring into the world, do so many "naughty things" It's our in-built strength, that we have to rely on .. to ensure safety of our children.

So, it's that strength that makes us carry on.

Men were not wired that way but if some can undertand that, they can think as we do, or at least understand this emotional rollercoaster alot of women seem to be on.

I also believe owning a business or 3 has it's merits in understanding men and how they think and what they need.

                It's a mixture....

That's my beliefs and I'm sticking to them.

Women only care about the things in life that are super hard to obtain. This is assuming your face is decent.

                  -Muscles

                  -Wealth(Which usually includes intelligence)

Don't buy and of that personality . As long as your not a jerk(which isn't a hard mindset to achieve), and you have the two things I listed, you can have any women you want.

We both know that if a women had the option to date between the following:

-A good looking guy who had a mediocre job.

-A average looking guy with a really good job.

She would go for the average looking guy with a good job. Don't deny that women don't care about money.

LOL Gentlemen, you're playing with fire on a women's forum! It sounds to me like you've gone through some tough times recently with the opposite sex. Why don't you post what happened so we can help you sort through all this anguish?

And as for your comment about average/hot/rich/not. I went to a private university and made many male friends that were very attractive, very not-attractive, going for communication majors, going to med school.... I didn't bat an eye at even one of them because I had a average (although very handsome in my book) boyfriend at home who works on tractor trailors and volunteers at a fire department. I make 2x's more money than he does, but I love him all the same.

You're reasoning is based in emotion....
