Hi karen, so glad to see you again as people were asking about you here.

Birthdays are special, to all of us, not many people don't see that as a day that shows love...

You have a violence trial against him, he texted you and that's it, maybe that's because of the order?

However, remember, someone whom lies to others about something and then tells you the truth, is not someone you can trust and we've talked about that, a way for him to get out of it....I think that's his motive....and I am again so sorry, happy birthday mam, ....

Keep searching for your survival and if he says anything to your Dad that is a lie? :Point it out....

Karen, thanks for stopping back in to let us know you're ok. Sorry you had a sad birthday, but I hope you see the positive in it and know there are brighter days ahead if you'll let there be.

The judge let Brian go... they are only charging him with "disturbing the peace." He does not even have to attend anger management classes.

And, Brian told me, last night, that if I love God and if I serve God and if I follow the Ten Commandments, then Brian is dumping me... Brian said that he does not want a woman in his life who loves God, serves God, reads the bible, and follows the Ten Commandments. So, I told him to leave. I told him that I am serving God and that I am choosing God over Brian. Then, Brian said that he does not love me and never has loved me and that if I ever mention God to Brian again, Brian will dump me.

I know that words hurt....And your last statement of what he said, hurt...

But, Karen... If you have chosen God over Brian, then maybe God has decided to take you away from Brian because you can't leave, you can't do it and so he's stepped in, as he wouldn't want you to be with someone like that, hurting your soul as he does.

Think on that whilst you stand firm on this decision this time sweet...

Best news I have heard about this situation. If Brian comes back wanting you to take him back, only agree to it if Brian is willing to learn about God and go to church. This is what God would want, I am sure. I have little hope he will change, but if you want to stick with him this may be the best chance to get him to change. Best of luck.

If his court date is the 11th how is it that a judge "let him go"? Is he out on a personal bond?

His lawyer and the prosecutor made a deal... a plea bargain.

And, I plan on attending bible college soon... I want to go into ministry... I do not know how God wants me to serve Him... but, I offered myself up to God and I want to do some type of ministry... a pastoral associate or lay clergy or whatever God wants me to do... but, I would like to attend college and finish my degree in theology... also, the priest told me today about the Catholic newspaper they have and that perhaps I may want to write for them... and, I volunteered for Catholic Charities... if accepted into school, grants, loans and scholarships will pay my way... I also had considered becoming a Nun or a Sister... but probably more of a lay clergy... we will see where God leads me.

I saw Brian today and he actually asked about God and the bible... we did not talk long about it, but he was much more respectful today... I also asked him to be respectful about my religion... and he asked me some questions about religion and even listened to me talk about Revelations for a little while today... you know, you hear of people dumping people because they are not religious enough, but not the other way around... but, he did admit he has seen a change in my behavior since I gave my life to God and he likes that... he was a lot more tolerant today about the whole thing... I even told him I could not see him tomorrow until after I had attended services and received communion, and, he said okay, then asked all about communion... and he tried to fondle me and I told him I could not do the premarital thing anymore, and, he did respect me and he did not fondle me anymore and did not insist on me spending the night with him.
